Reviews for Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome Hotel

Great customer service, dirty rooms

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 9 hours ago

Customer service is excellent, however, the rooms are outdated and not maintained well for the price they are charging. The hotel carpet was absolutely filthy (littered with dark stains all over the room). I appreciated that they offered hotel slippers, but those were also very dirty and obviously reused by multiple guests to the point where I didn't feel clean wearing them and had to wear socks with them (the slipper had stains on the material and were smashed down from multiple uses). The front desk team is excellent. Again, top notch customer service, but the quality in the rooms is lacking for me at this price point.

Amazing location, professional friendly stuff starting with front office supervisor Claudia, excellent food kudos to chef

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

Amazing location, outstanding hotel! I would have given 6 stars if I could. Spacious rooms, high ceilings, everything arranged with great taste. Speaking about taste: the breakfast was one of the best we have ever had! The chef made the best crepes and pancakes, a feast with everything that you can possibly think of. Claudia, the supervisor front office went above and beyond to accommodate our needs in a kind and professional manner. Did I mention the view? Good for Roma postcards!

Fabulous hotel with amazing restaurant

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Stayed for 4 nights with my wife to celebrate my birthday in late June. Service from staff was exceptional; always helpful and always courteous. A wonderful hotel! The highlight of our stay was a meal at the Ineo restaurant, which is located in the hotel. Even though the restaurant was fully booked, the restaurant manager, Damiano, went out of his way to find us a table when I mentioned it was for my 60th birthday, which was incredibly kind of him! The meal was unbelievably good and the wine was incredible too. Each and every member of the restaurant team provided impeccable service. The head chef, Heros De Agostinis even made me a surprise birthday cake ( which was soo delicious!) and also came out to see me to wish me a happy birthday!! I cannot recommend the restaurant enough - it is a must visit when you stay at the hotel - just make sure you remember to book in advance as it gets fully booked!

Fantastic business trip at Anantara Rome.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Excellent business trip at Anantara Rome. Everything was outstanding during my stay. Room was stunning—best room I have had in Rome on many business trips—-15 ft ceilings, huge bathroom. The staff went out of their way at every turn. Food at the rooftop restaurant was wonderful, the concierge had great suggestions for restaurants in Rome. I will definitely book this hotel again.

No AC

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Their policy is not to run the AC before a guest checks in “for the environment.” (Great way to get mold and sticky bed linen.) We arrived to a room temperature of 25C (felt much hotter). We told management this was not acceptable. They moved us to a different room (still hot), but assured us it would get colder. It did not get colder. We could not sleep because it was too hot. Then, at 4:30am all of the lights came on in our room and the AC turned itself off. When we spoke to guest relations in the morning, this was a known, reoccurring problem. This is a cheap hotel that does not want to pay for the electricity to run AC, or proper generators to ensure uninterrupted electricity, but wants to charge you expensive rates for the privilege of staying there. I had the privilege of changing hotels, and finding one in Rome with great AC.
