Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome Hotel

Excellent hotel. All the staff was amazing on the whole time i stayed. 100% Recommended.

This was a beautiful hotel with wonderful staff and a very comfortable bed. We truly were impressed with everything.

So attentive Room and customer service were wonderful. Buffet breakfast is the best in Rome. David was so helpful suggesting sites and restaurants and providing maps. We highly recommend this hotel.

Smoke and mirrors…. I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome Hotel was unacceptable — especially at €1600 per night. Everything seemed perfect during the day. The property is beautiful, the room was nice, and we were excited to celebrate our infant son’s first birthday while in Rome. But once nighttime came, the entire experience collapsed. The hotel is hosting the Italian Open tennis tournament event with a full-scale party and DJ upstairs that continued until the early morning hours. The music was so loud our balcony suite was literally vibrating. Not “slightly noisy” — the walls and floor were shaking from the bass. Completely impossible to sleep, especially with an infant. What made it worse was the hotel’s response. The front desk told us there was no nighttime manager on duty and their only solution was to move us into a significantly worse room — not the balcony suite we paid for, and not a room suitable for a family with a child. For €1600 a night, that is absurd. Instead of fixing the situation, they offered us a “sleeping kit” with ear plugs. After already calling to complain AND going downstairs in person, we then waited another 20 minutes while they searched for the kit. Eventually we were told there was “nothing they could do” and that we could speak to someone tomorrow. Their final gesture? A boxed breakfast to go. A luxury hotel charging these prices should never allow guest rooms to become unusable because of an all-night party, and the lack of management or accountability was shocking. Terrible experience. We will never return.

If I could only use one word to describe the Anantara, that would be exquisite. From the moment you set a foot at the entrance of the hotel you feel welcomed, seen and valued as a guest. I have stayed here several times and each time is special and leaves me wanting to come back over and over again. The beds with their super comfortable pillows, the immaculate bathrooms with their Acqua di Parma toiletries, the conscientiousness in the way they have put bottles of water in several places in the room, the possibility to have a wonderful (quality) cup of tea after a long day, the plush robes, the umbrella in the closet so that you don’t have to request one if needed be… The attention to detail is incredible, the facilities, having a pool in Rome is rare and that option in the middle of the hot Roman summer is wonderful, their delicious breakfast in the morning and their restaurants but also the possibility to see ancient Roman ruins over which the hotel was built and the way it has been done is magnificent! You can take a nice walk to Fontana de Trevi or Piazza di Spagna and all the historic centre of Rome, it’s close to so many stores, restaurants, surrounded with good public transportation if you choose to use that but also a the possibility to park your car in the middle of the busy Roman city center makes this hotel an asset to the eternal city. Having said all of this, the true real wealth of the Anantara Palazzo Naiadi is its staff. Without their warmth and care, this would just be a luxurious hotel but from the cleaning personnel who always greets you with a smile when you run into them as you walk to your room, the bell boys that help you with your luggage upon arrival, the concierges, waiters, barmen and and especially their wonderful reception staff… Claudia, and everybody there are always happy to help you and they show how much they care to make your stay as warm, pleasurable and cozy as possible. I only have good words for this establishment and cannot wait to be back!
