Exceptional service. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The hotel is in a very good location and front staff extremely helpful and very friendly. A great experience for a first time visitor to Rome.

Don’t be fooled by the impressive entrance…

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

I am a frequent traveler. Over my eight days in Rome I stayed at three different hotels. The Baglioni Regina is the most over rated hotel I’ve ever booked. What I received for $1200 a night was subpar and without precedent. Steer clear of this hotel.

Classic place that won’t disappoint

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

This is a classic old hotel, in a great neighborhood. Quiet area by and large, safe to walk in , and friendly staff. It’s old school comfortable. Lots of history on via veneto. Nice rooms , not modern, but clean and nice, nice breakfast room, and lots of rooms with patios. I’ve stayed all around this neighborhood, this holds up.

Roman elegance with modern luxury.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

Our recent stay at the Baglioni Hotel Regina was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel perfectly combines classic Roman elegance with modern luxury, and the location is ideal for exploring the city. The service throughout our stay was outstanding, warm, attentive and genuinely personal. Every member of staff made us feel welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were beautiful, the atmosphere was relaxed yet refined, and the overall experience made our trip to Rome even more memorable. A special mention also to the front desk team and bellboys, whose professionalism and warmth really stood out throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, they were attentive, welcoming and incredibly helpful, always greeting us with a smile and making every interaction feel personal. Their service added a real touch of luxury to the whole experience. We also loved the live music throughout the hotel, which created such an elegant and relaxing atmosphere. Having a lady playing the harp during breakfast each morning was a beautiful touch and made the start of each day feel truly special. The live music in the bar during the evenings added to the wonderful ambience and made it a perfect place to unwind after exploring Rome. We would highly recommend the hotel and look forward to returning soon.

Service Made The Difference

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Our stay at Baglioni Hotel Regina was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the level of service truly went above and beyond anything we expected. Every member of the staff—from check-in, doormen/porters, restaurant team, room service, and housekeeping—was outstanding. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always had a genuine smile, which made our stay that much more enjoyable. One small adjustment for us was learning that Italian hotels typically don’t provide irons or ironing boards in the room, but that’s more of a cultural difference than a drawback. The interior layout and design of the hotel reflects a classic, traditional Roman architectural style. This is a boutique luxury hotel, so don’t expect a massive mega-resort atmosphere. Instead, it offers a more intimate and elegant experience. During our two-week stay, we experienced two different rooms. We initially stayed in Suite 212, which was spacious and very quiet at night, but it felt somewhat outdated. The floors were consistently dusty, and the bathroom was in need of some repairs, especially the clogged shower heads. Later, we stayed in Room 126, which was noticeably more modern, cleaner, and had a much better functioning shower. The hotel is perfectly situated on the prestigious Via Vittorio Veneto, directly across from the U.S. Embassy. While there isn’t a tremendous amount within immediate walking distance, major attractions such as the Vatican, the Colosseum, and the train station are all within about a 15-minute taxi ride. One piece of advice: be cautious with taxis and confirm the fare beforehand, as some drivers may try to overcharge tourists. Overall, Baglioni did not disappoint. While the rooms were a bit hit-or-miss, the exceptional service more than made up for it. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.
