We recommend Divina Luxury Hotel. The rooms are big especially the bathroom. Breakfast is really good. The location is close to Spanish steps and designer shops

The hotel itself is in a good position not central but in walking distance of some of the sights and good shops and restaurants. We had 4 rooms for couples and they were a very decent size. The bed was clean and comfortable, plenty of room to store luggage and the bathroom and shower was generous too. However, trying work out how to get a hot shower was a nightmare. No instructions and the towel rail didn’t work. One of our couples asked to have it turned on and it was done with a spanner! The rooms were extremely dark. The curtains were unnecessarily closed by staff after the room was serviced. The heating was either off or 24.5-27 degrees. When reception were asked to turn it down the only option given was to turn it off. Water was chargeable - really not acceptable for a 4* hotel and you had to request milk when you wanted a cup of tea. We asked for English tea bags (as we’d used our 2) which couldn’t be located by the evening staff. The breakfast area was very small and the choice was very limited. You had to pay extra for certain things too like an omelette. Generally the staff were courteous but not much more than that. Although the coffee was said to be good. On the whole lots of little things let this hotel down.

Beware of this hotel. Do NOT stay here. They are not customer friendly and have wrong information advertised. They falsely advertised their junior suite to be larger on hotels.com. Upon confronting them they became hostile. The room was listed to be 646 sq ft but ended up being 200+ sqft smaller. Also while location might feel close, it requires taking significant number of steps or climbing uphill, and so unless that works for you, the location is not favorable. the neighborhood feels remote and distance from the city center. The staff, particularly David, is very very rude and looses his cool. Breakfast is NOT fresh and very limited. Frozen stuff defrosted - waffles, pancakes ... most hotels in europe have fresh and high quality breakfast. see picture of them advertising their junior suite to be larger than true

The only room available when we arrived was a junior suite. We only had one night and planned on having a Thai massage and dinner and would fly home the next morning. When we returned from our Massage in the afternoon we were not informed but found out there was no hot water. We had to take cold showers. The hot water did not come back on until after we’ve been in bed that night. The manager knew about this inconvenience but offered no compensation. We paid for a junior luxury suite but had no hot water while we were there and the free breakfast wasn’t served until 7:30, we had to leave at 7. We followed up with the manager and received no response. NOT a luxury experience.

We stayed at Divinia for a couple of nights at the conclusion of our 2 week Italy visit. It is in a quiet neighborhood that is a mix of businesses and residents. There were a number of restaurants within walking distance. It is only a 20 minute walk down the hill to Trevi. Staff was pleasant. Included breakfast was basic but adequate and the coffee was excellent. Room was pretty large compared to many other we stayed at. Excellent bathroom with a huge shower and great water pressure. We werent in Rome for the hotel room so Divinia was perfect for us and we would certainly return.
