Me and my husband had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The restaurant at the ground floor was delicious, and the service higlight. Service across the whole hotel was top level and the reception staff was so helpfull and supportive whener we needed help. Rooms are very clean and well designed. Highly recommend. The hotel itself is very close to all nice places where we walked in all directions less or more 10-20 minuts. I want to extend my thanks to all the staff for their hospitality. Arzu Ali

I have stated many, very nice hotels across four different continents. This, by far, has been the best. The staff was extremely attentive, everything was immaculately clean, and they really did a wonderful job to make you feel as if you were in your home instead of a hotel. Located in the heart of Rome, you are mere steps away from the Pantheon, and but a short walk from most other ancient Roman sites. Between the location, the staff, and the overall experience with the hotel I cannot say enough for how well they have done. The rooftop restaurant was second to none. With a breathtaking view of the city at sunset and to hear the church bells ring for miles around. The food was delicious and the wine selection was superb.

After the initial difficulties with the booking, I honestly have to say that I probably experienced one of the most beautiful stays imaginable. An incredibly beautiful hotel with an exceptionally attentive and welcoming team. You can truly feel that every detail is focused on making the guest completely satisfied and cared for. From the very first moment, you feel perfectly looked after — a true “100% worry-free experience.” The service, atmosphere, friendliness, and attention to detail were all at the highest level. Which makes it even nicer that the stay ultimately turned out to be such a positive and memorable experience.

We’ve been lucky enough to stay in nice hotels in Rome in the past, but this year we thought we’d try Orient Express Minerva – and we’re very happy that we did, as everything about our 6-night stay was exceptional. First we got an upgrade (from Junior Suite to one with a view of the square below). The room was beautifully furnished and equipped, with a very large and very comfortable bed and with not a sound at any time from anywhere outside. The hotel has only been open just over a year, so all the fittings are in great condition, with a lovely use of darkish marble and wood. (For once, the actual room betters the photos on the site!) We couldn’t have been more comfortable., and loved the view over Piazza Minerva and the Pantheon. The hotel’s location is brilliant for strolling the narrow (and crowded) streets of the old city centre. The downstairs bar/restaurant area is lovely, and breakfast there each day was a delight – excellent range of food, eggs etc cooked freshly to order, first-rate service and all this accompanied by Chiara playing the harp, just delightful. The rooftop bar and restaurant are also great, nice views over the city. We had dinner there on our last night and the food was really good. What tops everything off is the quite amazing service from everyone we met who works in the hotel. Reception, concierge (curators), wait staff at breakfast and at the rooftop, the guys at the entrance, the cleaning staff – everyone made us feel very welcome and that nothing was too much trouble. And we could see that they were like this with all the guests around us as well. I'm hoping the hotel sends a guest questionnaire so that we can name many of the excellent staff. We’ve fallen back in love with Italy, and especially Rome, and when we go back, this is where we’ll stay, without any hesitation. If you’re going to Rome, consider staying here – don’t think you’ll regret it.

What a fantastic Hotel. We were fortunate to have 4 nights at this amazing property. We were upgraded to a Junior Suite with a balcony. The staff knew us by name when we arrived. The Suite was simply amazing. Everything was spotless. The room was very quiet. The bathroom was perfection with a huge tub and separate shower. The shower was huge with a waterfall from the ceiling. No idea where or how they got the water pressure but taking a shower was literally like standing under a waterfall. Separate sinks and lots of towels. The bed and bedding were the finest we have ever experienced in all of our travels. The decor was amazing. Hardwood floors. Complimentary soft drinks and snacks in room. Breakfast area is huge, it appears no expense was spared in its design. It is open aired with a high glass ceiling from what appeared to have been a courtyard in the original palace. Everything from table settings to food to order was exceptional. Live music during the breakfast hours. When we left the hotel for our day to day activities we were greeted by name by the doormen with the same personal greeting upon our return. When we encountered staff we were often asked if there was anything that we needed. We plan on returning to this hotel.
