Rome, Italy is a city that requires the use of superlatives in its description. Western culture and history call this modern city home, as can be witnessed in the beautiful architecture, breathtaking collections of art and sculpture, and even in the stones beneath your feet. Rome is a place to feast the senses and inspire the spirit, and the Hotel Dei Mellini is the place to rest your head at the end of each memorable day. Located on the right bank of the Tiber River, calling the Spanish Steps and St. Peters Cathedral as close neighbors, guests are privy to vistas and access that few encounter in this legendary city. Opulent and comfortable, with modern amenities and an Art Deco décor, the Dei Mellini is your luxurious address in ancient Rome.

Hotel Dei Mellini is a small hotel in a great location for exploring Rome. The hotel is beautiful, quiet and very clean. I would recommend this for anyone planning a trip to Rome.

We found our stay to be excellent. The hotel was a nicely set up and relaxing place. Staff were helpful and friendly, and we had some pleasant conversations with people at the front desk. Our room appointments were good. We especially appreciated the suite had clear separation between the living room and bedroom (one of us has breathing problems at night). The breakfast promised for the morning had a good and ample set of foods. If we were ever to visit Rome again, we would be happy to stay once more at the dei Mellini.

We cannot fault this hotel, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms were big, well equipped and clean. Maid service was very good. Would return.

The hotel is lovely. The rooms are nice and the staff is very helpful. My suggestion would be if you have a hard time with more than 10000+ steps its easier to take a taxi to places for timed entries then walk to the nearest taxi rank to return to the hotel to save your legs. The Buses work ok but the underground tube is not very convenient. The breakfast is nice and the bar is relaxing... we didnt make it up to the rooftop lounge though.
