Rome, Italy is a city that requires the use of superlatives in its description. Western culture and history call this modern city home, as can be witnessed in the beautiful architecture, breathtaking collections of art and sculpture, and even in the stones beneath your feet. Rome is a place to feast the senses and inspire the spirit, and the Hotel Dei Mellini is the place to rest your head at the end of each memorable day. Located on the right bank of the Tiber River, calling the Spanish Steps and St. Peters Cathedral as close neighbors, guests are privy to vistas and access that few encounter in this legendary city. Opulent and comfortable, with modern amenities and an Art Deco décor, the Dei Mellini is your luxurious address in ancient Rome.

I am a Travel Advisor that booked 23 rooms for a group stay, August 22 - 31. Although I had read the reviews about the great staff and customer service, I was still blown away. The responses to my MANY requests were a smile and a cheerful “It’s no problem. I’m happy to assist”. All the staff that I interacted with were great, but I would like to especially acknowledge Luisa - front desk manager, Patricio - front desk, and Paulo - porter. They went above and beyond to help me. The hotel is in a great location. There are many restaurants, shops, and attractions within walking distance. The rooms are a nice size and very clean. The breakfast was good with a variety of options. I would definitely recommend this hotel. In fact, I have other clients scheduled to stay at the Dei Mellini the week of September 8.

We came to Rome for our 25th wedding anniversary. On arrival at the Hotel Dei Mellini, we were greeted with the news that they had upgraded our room to a suite with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco. And wow what a room! Beautifully decorated with 2 bathrooms, sitting room, plus bedroom with an enormous bed. We felt throughly spoiled. We’d had an early start travelling, so took our Prosecco and drank it on the rooftop terrace, which is a lovely sun trap. Breakfast the following day was lovely. Continental with the usual pastries, cheese, cold meats and fruit. Plus scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. Just enough to set you up for the day. All the staff were super friendly and helpful and made our stay a delight. Thank you all so much.

My wife, 15 year old son & myself have just stayed here for 7 nights bed & breakfast. Hotel very clean and staff friendly & welcoming. Our room was a decent size with a small balcony. Plenty to eat at breakfast with cereal, sausages, bacon, scrambled egg and plenty of pastries cold meat yogurt & fruit. Location good on a side street very close to the river. Many attractions walkable from the Hotel, Spanish Steps 10 minutes, Trevi Fountain 15 minutes, Castle 10 minutes, Pantheon 20 minutes, and Vatican 30 minutes. All this explained by the staff on check in with a nice map. A few restaurants nearby & many good ones on the side streets. No problem walking around the area feels safe even at night. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay & Rome is beautiful. Handy tip, download the it taxi app whilst there very good for getting taxis when there are no taxi ranks

We had a great four night stay. We arrived around 11am and just expected to drop our bags off, but they managed to check out us in and give us a room. Staff were very all very friendly and hotel location was excellent! We walked everywhere apart from to the Colosseum, but that was more due to the early booking we had. I’d highly recommend this hotel!
