A very comfortable hotel with good service
We are currently staying here for a 5 night trip in Rome. The hotel is comfortable and in a quiet location. The rooms are a good size and benefit from modern, quiet air conditioning. Shortly after arrival we were presented with fresh fruit for each room. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and the service is great. I recommend this hotel which is good value for money and better than many more expensive hotels I have stayed at.

The hotel is so conveniently placed to be in walking distance of all locations. Vatican 10 mins, Trevi 20 mins Colosseum 30 mins. The room was huge and clean with no issues at all. The breakfast was as in other reviews covers everything you need. The hotel is quiet and can’t understand any poor reviews.

Website Photos are not accurate
Hotel service was fine. The hotel is extremely run down and in serious need of new furnishings, paint, carpet and bathroom fixtures. My husband picked this hotel for the location and the pictures on the website are misleading. The hotel needs a major overhaul. Would not recommend.

Great experience
We had a wonderful experience at this hotel and its sister hotel in the heart of Rome. Both were clean and comfortable. Very cold AC. Hotel Dei Mellini is in a very quiet area, and Hotel dei Borgognoni is in the heart of the Rome. Breakfast was great - we have had breakfast at 7 other hotels on this trip, and my kids said this was the best one. Most importantly, the customer service of the front desks and support staff was impeccable. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay!

Excellent family suite for 3 nights
We traveled with our two teenage grandchildren. The suite was lovely. Two rooms and 1.5 bathrooms. Our three nights in Rome were very comfortable. The breakfast is quite good. All the employees are helpful. Good location for the Spanish Steps, Piazza Popolo, etc. Two excellent shopping areas. Plentiful restaurants. The hotel is spotless. My husband is very fussy with cleanliness ... no problems here. Highly recommended!
