Hotel Dei Mellini is a beautiful Hotel centrally located to most sights around Rome! The rooms are very large and comfortable. The front desk staff is wonderful and always helpful with area restaurant suggestions and directions The breakfast buffet starts your day off perfectly. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I would stay here again.

Great hotel and great hotel staff! The staff were helpful in making restaurant recommendations and reservations as well as getting taxis for us. The breakfast was excellent! It's in a good location with a two block walk to the bus stop. After a long day of touring, I really enjoyed getting a glass of lemon water that they had stocked in the lobby, which was just another example of going above and beyond. I would stay here again!

Helpful Staff

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

We were welcomed by a staff member who helped us with our many bags. He quickly delivered them to our two rooms once we were checked in. Check in was quickly and professionally executed. Staff were helpful, skilled, and friendly. We secured our hop on hop off bus voucher and map at the front desk, and taff provided guidance, which made it easy for our group to access the bus. Staff also secured transportation to and from the hotel to the airport. Upon arrival in our room, we were surprised with a bottle of sparkling wine. Our rooms were spacious, especially for a European big city, with a view of the front of the property. There was a great closet space to store our luggage and hang up our clothes freeing up space in our room. Breakfast consisted of hot and cold food such as bacon, eggs, a variety of pastry, breads, cheese, jams, and beverages. Staff were on site to clear tables and ensure that food was plentiful. This property was conveniently located, as we were able to walk to key points in the city such as transportation, restaurants and shopping. Thank you Hotel Dei Mellini for making our first visit to Rome a comfortable one.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Mellini. Great location. My only negative is the Buffet breakfast was not very enjoyable! There were times that the food was sparse.

Loved everything about Hotel Dei Mellini in the Gothic Quarter of Rome

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

Loved everything about Hotel Dei Mellini, perfectly located for us in the Gothic Quarter of Rome with its finely-appointed rooms, the roof-top garden, the great views of the Cathedral of Barcelona, the very helpful and courteous staff and the wonderful breakfasts. This was home for 10 of us for 3 days to explore all that Rome had to offer before we embarked the Norwegian Epic for our Mediterranean cruise (Rome to Barcelona) to celebrate hubby's 80th birthday. Would recommend without hesitation.
