Rome, Italy is a city that requires the use of superlatives in its description. Western culture and history call this modern city home, as can be witnessed in the beautiful architecture, breathtaking collections of art and sculpture, and even in the stones beneath your feet. Rome is a place to feast the senses and inspire the spirit, and the Hotel Dei Mellini is the place to rest your head at the end of each memorable day. Located on the right bank of the Tiber River, calling the Spanish Steps and St. Peters Cathedral as close neighbors, guests are privy to vistas and access that few encounter in this legendary city. Opulent and comfortable, with modern amenities and an Art Deco décor, the Dei Mellini is your luxurious address in ancient Rome.

4 nights which we booked through EasyJet. On arrival the hotel is in a nice street in Prati with plenty of restaurants close by. Easy walking to most of Romes historical sights. Reception was excellent. Very pleasant, informative and helpful with booking taxis etc. Had a lovely room on the first floor which was spotless, comfortable, everything you needed. Each day the room was cleaned and made fresh. Breakfast served from 6:30am which is very helpful, we had some early tours planned and flight home but the early start meant we had time for a delicious breakfast, more than enough choice. All in all the hotel and staff were more than expected and I’d have no hesitation to recommend family and friends should they take a trip to Rome. Thank you Hotel Dei Mellini.

A wonderful 4 night stay, travelling on my own to run the Rome marathon. Wonderful welcome and made even better by being given a room upgrade from the booked single room to a king size…lovely surprise. Room was large, bathroom excellent and very quiet. Breakfast was lovely and staff are so hard working and friendly. Hotel itself is very clean and its location is perfect to walk to the Vatican or across the river to Piazza Navona/Pantheon area. It’s in such a quiet location for being so close the centre and Prati area was a welcome sanctuary away from the crowds of the day. Good local restaurants and nice evening walks down to Castel St Angelo and Piazza Cavour. It’s only 10 mins walk to Lepanto or Flaminio metro which was really useful to get to the marathon on the Sunday Lovely overall stay and location

My husband and I stayed three nights in March. My primary criteria, for my husband, was having a workout room with a spin bike. He doesn’t go anywhere without doing his workout first, so once I saw pictures of the exercise room, I kept reading about the hotel. I liked the neighborhood it’s located in, I liked breakfast was included. Our stay there was everything we expected: the staff was great, food in the bar was good, the room was spacious and we were close to the bus line and metro. We walked to the Vatican in about 20 minutes, and had several good restaurants within a block or two. One note, the bed was very hard. While it wasn’t what I liked, some may. Just be aware of that

We enjoyed a lovely stay for 4 nights. Room was nice and very clean. Bed was very firm. Nice quiet location. Service was great from the moment we arrived. Luggage taken to our room, smooth check in, all staff helpful and friendly. Nice selection for breakfast. Would stay here again if we return to Rome. Definitely recommend.
