Set in the heart of Rome at the start of the Via Veneto, Hotel Sina Bernini Bristol has been welcoming guests in grand style since 1870. Recently restored to its original grandeur, it maintains the glorious traditions of the past with an exquisite collection of elegant, European-style guest accommodations. Magnificent lounges filled with antique furnishings offer views over Tritone Fountain, while the Mediterranean and international cuisine served at L'Olimpo restaurant delights the most demanding of gourmands.

The rooftop terazza with beautiful views of Rome could give an expectation for some good food and service. However, the food isn't anything special, not bad but just very average. So is the service. Not worth to return or to recommend for any special occasion.

We stayed for three days, and the Bristol exceeded our expectations. Its central location made most tourist attractions easy to reach, and the Hop-On Hop-Off bus stopped right across the street. Our room was comfortable, spotless and well equipped; the AC worked perfectly, the food was very good and the staff was exceptionally attentive. From our fifth-floor balcony, we overlooked Piazza Barberini, yet heard no street noise once the doors were closed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay; thank you for making it truly memorable.

Customer service is horrendous. While our on way to Rome for our vacation, a family member I was traveling with suffered a medical emergency and was hospitalized for 2 days. This unfortunately required us to cancel our vacation and this stay within the cancellation period. A friend called the hotel to notify them of our situation. They said an email needed to be sent, which he did and copied me. The hotel then said since I used Marriott Bonvoy points for this stay, I had to contact Marriott Customer Service. I did. Marriott said the hotel had to authorize the refund of points, and the hotel refused. I have repeatedly reached out to both the hotel and Marriott and each points the finger at the other one. During such an upsetting and stressful time, i expected compassion as a long loyal Marriott member. There are other hotel brands I can move my loyalty to. I will definitely not patronize this hotel on my next vacation to Rome.

We traveled here with our family in early August. The hotel met every expectation. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the hotel itself was much nicer than I expected. Not sure what I expected, but it was on par with the nicer hotels in the US. The hotel had a breakfast buffet every morning upstairs with an assortment of options, which was perfect before going out sightseeing. There was something for everyone on the menu or buffet, which was very convenient and appreciated. Finally, not being all that familiar with Rome, it felt like we were centrally located. We walked to and from Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain, and there were an ample selection of nice restaurants around us (though I think you can say that about anywhere in Rome). All in all, I was really pleased with our visit here.

Wonderful hotel! Attentive and helpful staff! GREAT location. Walk to colosseum, Vatican City, and shopping. Phenomenal view from rooftop bar……and fine drinks!
