Luxury understated.
Rome was our 2nd stop in Italy on our vacation. We took the high speed from Venice and got a ride from the station to Spelndide Royal. I have to say - as with other things on our trip - this hotel was an understated surprise. The greeting was wonderful. The bell staff, the front desk, they were so professional and kind. We were upgraded to a room in the newer boutique part of the hotel - man- I am not cool enough to stay there. Just the walk to the elevator - artwork, lovely furniture, and the fragrance of the hotel so nice. Our room was perfect, large, comfortable every amenity thought of. It was the best shower i have ever had in a hotel room (HUGE rain shower). The bed was so comfortable, I slept forever. It is well positioned - out of the hustle and bustle of Rome up on a hill near a park. Walking up that hill - well that is exercise but so worth it for the quiet. We had lunch on day one and breakfast every day - they had it on the rooftop and I have to tell you - just sitting up there with your view of Rome, the Vatican, the trees and birds, and eating lovely food and being tended to by a staff that is so kind and professional - well that is straight out of a movie. I had to pinch myself a few times. I would recommend this hotel with all my heart.

Great place to stay at.
I find this place to be very beautiful as always. However, the reception staff today were quite unkind. I arrived for snacks and drinks and left a generous tip, but the reception team was not welcoming. Despite this incident, I would still highly recommend this place based on my previous stay.

Perfect summer ending
I have stayed at this piece of heaven recently with my family and everything was perfect and outstanding. Great views of the lake, spacious and nice rooms, and exceptionally friendly staff who are trained very well. In fact, they take you above and beyond and make you feel very valued. Will definitely returns.
