Reviews for The Hoxton Rome

SUCH a positive experience!

This is a very cool and funky place to stay. The rooms and beds are very comfortable, the lounge is a very easy place to chill out (although they could do with turning the music down as we had to shout to hear one another!). The breakfast was lovely and the cocktails and food were very good indeed. However, what makes the Hoxton in Rome so special are the female staff (special mention to Nora, Thelma, Francesca, Sofia, Claudia and Eleonora). These women could not do enough for me. I have a spinal injury (the hotel is very accessible) and my Mum had just died days before we arrived. They were SO kind and they went out of thier way to help. I also had my assistance dog with me and he was super welcome too. The hotel is not in the centre (which is a good thing). You are just a walk through the lovely Villa Borghese gardens to the centre of everything. It is nice to come back to a quieter and more authentic distrcit where restaurants are frequented by locals. Thank you Hoxton in Rome!

Very comfortable rooms with everything you need for a great stay. Quiet and peaceful for a good nights sleep. Showers are amazing with the large rainfall heads. Hotel staff is very outgoing and delights in making sure you’re happy. Great food, warm and cozy bar atmosphere with a nice variety of beers. Love how snacks are served when you just sit to have a cocktail or beer. Would definitely go back. Thanks for an excellent stay!!

Great front desk, Cugino & Elio staff (friendly, knowledgable & good suggestions for dinners & sights) - & fun atmosphere & music even being solo in lobby...nice having market nearby too. And great beds! Like being outside of tourist area - quieter.

Bright and lively

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Although the Hoxton's prices seem to have gone up quite a bit recently, this Roman iteration is comfortable, lively, young, clean, with incredibly kind service people even if the front desk gets a bit overworked. Parioli is a lovely residential neighborhood with fabulous cafes and markets. It's a 15 minute walk to the Borghese Gardens, but a 45 minute walk to other sites in Rome, which is a lot, and the Rome metro is not as usable as in cities like Paris or London. The bus works pretty well. We stayed in a biggy room, which was great, but the terrace not all that pleasant since it is not open to any sunlight. Nevertheless the restaurant occupies a delightful outdoor space, which accommodates coffee, cocktails, and just some laptop work. Highly recommend.
