The Hoxton, Rome has 192 bedrooms, a coffee bar and takeaway counter, a large light-flooded restaurant, and a beautiful outdoor terrace. Parquet floors, statement headboards and brass lighting features throughout, whilst bold colors, local stones and lacquered timbers nod to classic mid-century Italian design. We’ve got you covered for your best night’s sleep with comfy mattresses and black out blinds to help you drop off, and you’ll find our very own bathroom amenities range, Blank, to get you squeaky clean the next morning.

I always love returning to the Hoxton in Rome, every single stay has been beyond perfect thanks to Ahmad at the reception. All other staff members have always been amazing as well! This time I brought my small poodle and it was even more special, as the staff had already prepared a mini bed for my dog as well as bowls for water and food. Everyone is always so friendly, I love the vibe of the hotel and the room decorations. The bed was very comfortable and I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud, very soft duvet and sheets. I have eaten there on several occasions, also breakfast. The food is delicious! Thank you again Ahmad and the Hoxton team. Can’t wait to be back.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at The Hoxton. The hotel is beautifully designed, the rooms are so clean and comfortable and the restaurant Elio was so good we ate there almost every day during our week long stay. Gabriele and Fabrizio were our amazing waiters for dinner. They were so friendly and helpful, along with all the other staff there. Although the location is just outside the city center, getting around was very easy and just a short taxi ride to all the tourist destinations. Highly recommend staying here or even just coming for a meal. We will 100% be back on our next visit to Rome!!

If you're a tourist hoping to see Rome's iconic sights, do not stay here. The Hoxton is miles from the city center, making every outing a commute. Location alone kills the value. I had an Amex credit to use, but even that couldn't salvage this stay. The few positives: Ahmed at the front desk was genuinely kind, and they do offer bicycles but we got one with a chain that came off mid-ride, ruining our afternoon. I'd have much preferred they'd been honest about having fewer working bikes rather than handing out a maintenance problem. Amenities weren't properly explained; I only spotted the bikes by chance. And when I arranged a late checkout at check-in, a manager (claiming to be housekeeping) tried to enter my room despite my Do Not Disturb sign, insisting I didn't have late checkout, incredibly frustrating. Some staff were nice, but others came off rude, with a subtle undertone of condescension that felt borderline racist. The decor tries hard to be trendy but falls flat. No guest water is offered (unlike Hotel Smeraldo, which gave us water and free breakfast). Their restaurant? Skip it I've already reviewed it separately. Overall, this hotel isn't worth the money. They seem more interested in drawing outside diners than caring for actual guests. Save your time and stay elsewhere in Rome. Bottom line: If you have an Amex credit, pay a little bit more for the next hotel you'll thank me later. This hotel is not it.
