Five-star luxury for the Ambasciatori Palace in via Vittorio Veneto, an elegant window facing the Eternal City. In an enviable location, the hotel blends the magic of traditional hospitality with contemporary elegance. Known as 'Ambassadors' Palace', it was originally built in 1903 and it has been the location of international affairs between diplomats from the nearby Embassies and a witness to the excitement of the mundane 'Dolce Vita'. The welcoming and aristocratic atmosphere of the Ambasciatori Palace combines with exclusive services provided and a careful attention to technology and comfort. The 152 rooms are bright, spacious and finely furnished, decorated in soft colors and aristocratic textures. The elegant business center includes several multipurpose rooms of different sizes, some with natural light and overlooking via Veneto. The main hall is housed in the ballroom. The Ambasciatori Palace is the ideal place for an unforgettable stay among the most legendary historical-artistic monuments and the elegant shopping streets of Rome.

Very beautiful building. We arrived very early in the morning. The manager Marco was very nice, he helped a lot and gave a lot of god information and advice. Also the breakfast was very nice, the waiters were very friendly.

Great experience overall. Literally almost perfect. Great room, and hotel. We had lunch our first day (excellent!) while waiting for our room and a dinner the next day that was INCREDIBLE. Old Fashioneds at Charlie's rooftop bar were better than any I have ever had. 3 little complaints: Our room wasn't ready until almost 3:30. Then trainee at front desk couldn't process our credit card. We tried to get her to try "tap" method, but she wasn't willing to try so we gave her another card. When we checked out, we insisted and it worked first try. The last morning (3rd morning) we were seated by the hostess in middle of the main dining room for breakfast and had to ask for coffee after 15 minutes of being ignored.

Amazing experience, hotel staff were so welcoming from the minute we walked in. We had 2 rooms booked and the staff went out of their way to accommodate our request of having 2 rooms together. A huge thank you to Anthea at the front desk who really looked after us, showed us some important attractions and best ways to get there. Her service was excellent along with her trainee colleague, Guilia (I think that’s the right name). Our rooms were not facing the main road and there was a lot of noise from local residents, but the beds were comfortable, turndown service was excellent and plenty of water provided for the duration of our stay. The bar staff were lovely and really accommodated us and our teenage children Thank you … I will definitely be returning to your lovely hotel.

Staff were great and very helpful. Lovely, room close to most attractions. We were on half board basis, no issues at breakfast and there is plenty of variety to choose from. Check before you sit down for dinner though, we were charged for the evening meal even though it was included in our price. The reception staff were very helpful in sorting this out. My main issue here is at checkout we were asked to pay an optional €25 each as a tip for the staff. We had already given tips out to most staff during our stay and there is a service charge on everything (no issue with that) but to then get asked for a further payment seems a little excessive in my opinion, hence I didn't pay it. It wouldn't stop me returning to this hotel, overall a great experience with a couple of minor tweaks needed.
