Five-star luxury for the Ambasciatori Palace in via Vittorio Veneto, an elegant window facing the Eternal City. In an enviable location, the hotel blends the magic of traditional hospitality with contemporary elegance. Known as 'Ambassadors' Palace', it was originally built in 1903 and it has been the location of international affairs between diplomats from the nearby Embassies and a witness to the excitement of the mundane 'Dolce Vita'. The welcoming and aristocratic atmosphere of the Ambasciatori Palace combines with exclusive services provided and a careful attention to technology and comfort. The 152 rooms are bright, spacious and finely furnished, decorated in soft colors and aristocratic textures. The elegant business center includes several multipurpose rooms of different sizes, some with natural light and overlooking via Veneto. The main hall is housed in the ballroom. The Ambasciatori Palace is the ideal place for an unforgettable stay among the most legendary historical-artistic monuments and the elegant shopping streets of Rome.

The InterContinental Ambasciatori Palace is a breath of fresh air in Rome’s luxury scene. It manages to feel high-end and sophisticated without the "museum-like" stuffiness often found in the city’s older hotels. Design and Location The modern, simplistic design of the rooms and public spaces is very well-executed. Location-wise, you couldn't ask for much more: it’s close to the city center, right near the Villa Borghese for a quiet walk, and accessible to the subway. The bar and rooftop areas are beautifully designed, though the rooftop is clearly a local favorite and was too crowded for me to find a seat during my visit. The Wellness Gap As a traveler who prioritizes wellness facilities, I was disappointed to find that the hotel does not have a spa. Given the elegance of the property and its 5-star positioning, a spa would have made this a perfect stay. Without it, it feels more like a high-end "business luxury" property than a full-scale resort. Service and Accountability The service was a highlight—consistently friendly and proactive compared to other European hotels. Interestingly, at checkout, the hotel asked if I’d like to leave a general tip for the staff. It’s a transparent way to handle gratuities, and I appreciated the honesty. I’m happy to reward great service, though as someone who appreciates the effortless "omotenashi" of Japan, I hope the team’s high motivation remains independent of the tipping prompt. Verdict A solid, stylish choice for Rome. It is clean, safe, and excellently located. If you can live without a spa, it is one of the best modern options in the city.
