NH Collection Roma Giustiniano

After a disastrous experience at another property near Piazza Navona, the NH Collection Roma Giustiniano came to our rescue and truly felt like an idyllic oasis! We had booked accommodations elsewhere in Rome, but upon arrival, we found the property completely uninhabitable. So, we had to quickly find somewhere else to stay. We took a taxi to the NH Collection Roma Giustiniano and arrived just before midnight. The front desk staff member, Ian, was incredibly kind, sympathetic to our situation, and welcoming. He arranged a room for us at the last minute and even helped us with our luggage. After the ordeal we had just experienced, his kindness meant so much to us. Our room was fabulous and incredibly spacious for our party of three. It had two distinct sleeping/living areas: a master bedroom with a queen bed and a separate living room with a sofa bed. There was also a desk in the master bedroom, which was a wonderful added convenience. Both living areas featured flat-screen TVs. We especially loved the balcony overlooking the church, which added a wonderful Roman atmosphere to the stay. The room was impeccably clean and offered plenty of closet and storage space. The bathroom was equally impressive, with an excellent selection of toiletries and an abundance of fresh towels. The hotel’s common areas were beautiful and welcoming, and the breakfast was truly exceptional. The spread was incredibly extensive, with fresh fruit, pastries, hot dishes, coffees, teas, and even spirits—there was something for everyone. The location is another major plus. It is conveniently situated within walking distance of many of Rome’s major attractions, restaurants, and shops, while still providing a comfortable retreat from the bustle of the city. After such a stressful start to our stay in Rome, the NH Collection Roma Giustiniano was exactly what we needed. From the compassionate welcome at the front desk by Ian, to the beautiful, spotless room and outstanding breakfast, this hotel completely turned our experience around. We were so grateful to have found it and would happily stay here again!

I frequently stay at NH when I travel so I was expecting the usual great quality and service, but honestly wasn’t expecting my check-in experience to end up being the main highlight of my first visit to Rome, as NH Collection Roma Giustiniano surprised me from the moment I walked in and picked me as “Guest of the Day” and got me an upgrade to a suite with some lovely extras. Truly such a warm welcome for a first night in the city. The hotel is great by all means and it’s exactly what you would expect from NH, while Ali Mohamed was the exceptional greater addition as he was professional, attentive, and made me feel genuinely looked after and provided amazing recommendations for things to do and places to visit, and was more of a ‘local buddy’. I also had lunch at the hotel and the burger was honestly one of the best I’ve had in a while (recommended by Ali of course). Loved it enough that I’m already booked to come back next week.

The house cleaning staff is very warm and generous. They freely offer us many bottles of water. But the staff at the check-in counter is not so friendly, claiming that we can only take three bottles of water. Given the high temperature during our stay, such response is not welcoming and friendly.
