Orient Express La Minerva

Spent 3 beautiful nights there. The reservations department, concierge and wait staff at the restaurant were all extremely attentive, kind and helpful. Best cappuccinos ever. They made our family feel so special with unique gifts. The rooms and hotel are beautiful. The location is great. Would definitely stay again.

Earlier this year I had the opportunity to enjoy a negroni at La Minerva bar, I was just passing through on a work trip but really wanted to explore this lobby which i had seen on social media. Not only was the negroni one of the best i had, the service was top notch, I had decided then that one day I would like to stay in the hotel. Fast Forward a few months and my brother is on his honeymoon and I wanted to gift him an experience. After he told me he was staying two nights in Rome, i knew what I had to do....after making the reservation, the orient Express team reached out to me with a plethora of pre-stay questions, i would never even considered (what temperature would you like the room when you arrive). The staff was so moved that I wanted to gift my brother and his wife this experience, they took it from there. They went above and beyond to provide an extremely welcoming experience: room upgrade, bottle of champagne, flowers, cake etc... But what I heard later from my brother was even more incredible. He mentioned the service and attention to detail were unmatched. For example, they had standard hand soap bars in the bathroom and the room staff noticed that my sister-in-law preferred the liquid soap from the shower....so while my brother was away, the staff provided a new bottle of liquid hand soap. I would like to give incredible praise to the entire Orient Express Team for providing such a memorable experience. I cannot wait to stay myself! (furthermore, i love the entire design of the hotel)

Our stay at Orient Express La Minerva was truly exceptional and became one of the highlights of our time in Rome. We chose the hotel to celebrate two very special occasions, our 40ths birthdays and our wedding anniversary and from the moment we arrived, we felt that this would be far more than an ordinary hotel stay. The hotel itself is magnificent. Every area is exceptionally clean, beautifully organized, and decorated with remarkable taste and attention to detail. The interiors perfectly combine Roman history, contemporary elegance, and the unmistakable refinement of Orient Express. The indoor restaurant is particularly beautiful, with an atmosphere that is sophisticated yet warm and inviting. The rooftop restaurant is another unforgettable part of the experience. It offers a stunning view over Rome and is the perfect setting for a cocktail at the end of the afternoon. Watching the city from above while enjoying the elegant atmosphere was one of those special moments that truly capture the spirit of la dolce vita. Breakfast was absolutely impeccable. The dishes were beautifully prepared, the ingredients were excellent, and every detail of the service was carefully considered. However, what made breakfast truly magical was the harpist who played every morning. Listening to her perform became one of the greatest highlights of our stay. We made sure never to miss breakfast, not only because of the wonderful food, but because starting the day with the sound of her harp was an extraordinarily beautiful and memorable experience. The entire team deserves special recognition. Everyone was extremely well trained, polite, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The service was elegant and highly professional, but also warm and natural. This level of personalized attention has tremendous value and is undoubtedly one of the hotel’s greatest strengths. We never felt that the service was merely following a protocol; we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. The concierge service was exceptional. We used it twice to help us select restaurants in Rome, and both recommendations were excellent. Their knowledge, attention to our preferences, and ability to understand exactly what kind of experience we were looking for made a real difference. The hotel also has a gym, which I used every day during our stay. It was clean, pleasant, and allowed me to maintain my daily routine. In my opinion, it could benefit from a few additional pieces of equipment, but even so, I was able to complete my workouts without difficulty. Orient Express La Minerva is the kind of hotel that stays in your memory. It creates the feeling that you do not want to leave, and even makes you want to return to Rome simply to stay there again. More than a luxurious hotel, it offers a complete experience built around beauty, comfort, gastronomy, music, and, above all, truly outstanding hospitality. Our stay exceeded every expectation, and we would return without hesitation. Grazie mille to the entire team for making our celebration and our time in Rome so unforgettable.

We stopped by here for drinks at La Minverva bar on a very hot Sunday afternoon after walking from The Vatican. I knew we'd receive excellent service and drinks in a relaxed environment while I tried to cool down. Which we did. The bar served a wine I really like by the glass. Bonus. And I caved in and ordered dessert once I spied the dessert trolley. The bar was very quiet to begin with, as I expected everyone books the rooftop, which would have melted me. There were plenty of staff about who were extremely chatty, friendly and eager to assist. Was a very pleasant afternoon spent in calm surroundings.

Me and my husband had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The restaurant at the ground floor was delicious, and the service higlight. Service across the whole hotel was top level and the reception staff was so helpfull and supportive whener we needed help. Rooms are very clean and well designed. Highly recommend. The hotel itself is very close to all nice places where we walked in all directions less or more 10-20 minuts. I want to extend my thanks to all the staff for their hospitality. Arzu Ali
