Palazzo Manfredi

We chose Palazzo Manfredi as the final stop on our family’s summer trip across Europe to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday, and despite major travel delays, the hotel team made it an unforgettable experience. Exceptional Communication & Empathy: Due to flight cancellations and unexpected disruptions, our arrival in Rome was pushed back significantly. Throughout the entire day, I was in contact with the front desk staff to keep them updated. They were incredibly responsive, empathetic, and reassuring, taking all the stress out of a very long travel day. When we finally arrived late at night, we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. The Apartment Suite: We were accommodated in a 1-bedroom apartment suite located just down the street from the main building. It was spacious, impeccably set up for our arrival, and featured beautiful high ceilings and modern amenities. It provided the perfect comfortable haven after a grueling day of travel. Thoughtful Celebratory Touches: Knowing this was the grand finale of our trip and a milestone birthday celebration for my wife, the team left lovely, sweet surprises in our room. That level of personal attention did not go unnoticed. Additionally, the night team was fantastic in giving us great local recommendations for where to grab a bite to eat, even late into the evening. Final Thoughts: While our late schedule meant we didn't get to experience the main hotel property directly, the treatment we received from start to finish was world-class. Even staff at other luxury hotels along our European journey spoke so highly of Palazzo Manfredi, and now we see why! We cannot thank the team enough and fully intend to return for a full stay on our next visit to Rome.

The hotel is so quaint and our room was amazing! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Also our experience at The Court and Aroma was outstanding!

This absolutely lovely hotel is right across the street from the Colosseum, and the views from our room did not disappoint. The room was spacious and beautifully appointed. The hotel staff was friendly and responsive, with most speaking very good English. We would give it 5 stars, but there are areas for improvement. The lobby is very small, so when people are checking in and out of the hotel or lunch/dinner reservations, it becomes very crowded, very quickly. The room lacked outlets, and the ones that it did have were inconveniently located. The tub was very spacious and hosted a fantastic view, but it was difficult to get in and out of - the step into the tub was about 2 feet off the ground. Also, be aware that the hotel is over the metro, so during the day, you feel the hotel shudder as it rumbles by. Also, they are excavating ruins right next to the hotel, and the workers begin at daybreak. Since it is located on the main street next to the Colosseum, you will hear revelers into the early morning hours. Just some things to keep in mind, but we do recommend it and would stay there again.

From the first step through the door, to the final wave goodbye, my stay at the Palazzo Manfredi was a highlight experience. The location was perfect. The room was first class from bedding to bath. Pulling back the window curtain and looking directly into the arches of the Colosseum was breathtaking. Service and cleanliness must be rated as superior. Every aspect of my stay at the Manfredi enhanced the unforgettable atmosphere of my time in Rome.
