Bathed in the elegance, history, and culture of ancient Rome, Palazzo Manfredi offers an exclusive glimpse of Italy's celebrated past with all the modern comforts of a luxurious five-star escape. At Palazzo Manfredi, every window promises a journey to the past. Breathtaking views of the Coliseum and cobbled Roman roads await behind the heavy, roped drapery in each of the hotel's exquisite accommodations. Each room is a jewel of style and sophistication awash in opulent Roman textiles; warm, natural light floods in through the numerous windows, and a soft, earthy color palette completes the relaxed ambiance. Plush rugs envelope the length of living and sleeping areas, while cool marble dominates in the lavish well-equipped bathrooms; rooms range in size from the intimate Prestige to the colossal Suite Colosseo. Larger families or those seeking a more secluded setting may opt for a stay in the palatial accommodations of Palazzo Manfredi's off-site apartments, available with all the comforts of the hotel, but the privacy of one's very own pied-à-terre.

An absolutely remarkable stay! The panoramic views of the colosseum are breathtaking, and the entire staff is incredibly warm and friendly. Our room was consistently spotless and tidy throughout our visit. To top it all off, every meal we had was delicious. Highly recommend!"

A once in a lifetime hotel experience, right in the heart of Rome overlooking the Colosseum and Ludus Magnus excavations. Important notes: 1) this is more of a historic location so rooms are small but excellent decor, 2) the Court Bar, named one of top 5 in the world, requires time specific reservations by email, not phone, even if you are a guest 3) there is the hotel and there are the apartments so make sure you are making the correct reservation for what you want.

From the moment we arrived, this hotel exceeded every expectation I had—and then some. The staff greeted us with genuine warmth and professionalism, making us feel less like guests and more like family. Every interaction—whether at the front desk or with housekeeping—was marked by attentiveness, kindness, and a sincere desire to ensure our stay was perfect. The team went above and beyond on multiple occasions, always with a smile and never making it feel like an inconvenience. Their knowledge of the area was exceptional, and their passion for hospitality shone through in everything they did. This was more than just a hotel stay—it was a memorable experience defined by genuine hospitality and impeccable service. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, and I will absolutely return the next time I’m in Rome.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay at Palazzo Manfredi. Seriously just an incredible experience. I was hesitant because the exclusivity comes with a price, but it was worth every single Euro. First, our room could not have had a better view. I mean, seriously, where else can you sit in bed and stare at the Colosseum? All night long?? (We were in Grand View J Suite 2). I wasn't convinced the actual view could look like the pictures, but it did--even more impressive in real life. And that was just the tip of the iceberg. The suite itself was awesome--the elevator opened into the sitting area of our suite. It was my boyfriend's birthday, and I had arranged for a cake for him. It was beautiful, so nicely done and delicious. They also had left fresh flowers, balloons, champagne, and all kinds of little snacks and fruit. And complimentary water. Breakfast in the Aroma restaurant was delicious--there was a buffet with everything you could want plus a menu to order eggs and the daily special. The room cost included breakfast and a top-notch transfer from the airport. Everything was so great--the bathroom, the shower with the rainfall shower head and special lighting (and yes, you could even look at the Colosseum from the shower!), the linens were amazing, mini-bar was fantastic, toiletries were superb, as were slippers and robe. And the staff was super friendly and helpful--from the first moment when they sit you down and offer you a prosecco or an espresso to showing you around the hotel and your room. When we were leaving, there was a charity run that closed down a lot of streets around the hotel, and our Uber drivers kept cancelling. The hotel staff were like family members rather than hotel staff--giving us sweets and offering cappuccinos while we waited, taking my phone to try to talk to the Uber drivers, offering to bring our luggage down the street to meet the driver, and ultimately getting a taxi that was able to get us where we going. Just an incredible experience all around. (I realize I keep saying "incredible" and "amazing," but no other adjectives seem sufficient....). It was the perfect stay in Rome.
