Far beyond my expectations! I knew I was in for the best of the best but could not have been happier during my stay at PORTRAIT ROMA. From every single detail covered to the warm and welcoming team who went above and beyond helping me secure tickets to museum exhibitions and restaurant reservations, the stay was more than 5 stars.

This is a 4-star hotel but the services and ambience is 6-star. From the moment I contacted concierge after booking, they started their services: prompt and attentive. The team consisted of Florentina, Sara, Michelle & Jolijne. One of the evenings we booked dinner table ourselves without them getting involved. Surprisingly in mid afternoon, they noticed we have no dinner booking and asked if we needed help! That’s attention to details. Breakfast is the highlight of the day for us. It’s quiet and the room has a great view of the Spanish Steps. Margarita, the only staff we met, offered a quiet attentive service. After one morning she remembered what we ordered, liked or disliked. She was cheerful and efficient. All in all this is our favourite in Rome. If you don’t mind a hotel without a full time bellman, you should really try!

We stayed at Portrait Roma during our honeymoon. From our arrival, it was like the entire staff was doing all they could to make our stay special. From giving us advice on areas to avoid to making dining reservations to finding Belgian beer, they went above and beyond every day

Amazing location with exceptional experience- we’re so accomodating and welcoming to our son as well as us- with great service, little surprises along the way of our stay and nothing was a problem. Offered great restaurant recommendations and helped book tickets of places to visit!! Incredible accomodating staff and facilities of hotel as well as view from breakfast area were exceptional
