Portrait Roma

The location is PERFECT. The ENTIRE staff is wonderful, pleasant, and extremely helpful. The hotel is small, intimate, and chic. I love all the Ferragamo photos and memorabilia throughout the halls. The rooms are extremely clean and very comfortable. The roof top for breakfast, relaxing, and cocktails is fabulous . The attention to detail at the Portrait is superb, from the welcoming notes to the tea at night when you get home from dinner. I love all the Portrait hotels and will always stay there when I travel. We loved everything about our stay at Portrait Roma. The location is unbeatable – right on Via Condotti, in the heart of Rome, but still quiet and private. You can walk everywhere! The team is amazing. Everyone is warm, welcoming, and truly goes above and beyond. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was stylish, super comfortable, and had everything we needed. And the rooftop terrace for breakfast, with that incredible view over the city, was just unforgettable. Simply put: the perfect mix of location, comfort, and outstanding service. We can’t wait to come back!

We came to Rome for 4 nights. When we arrived to hotel, we got an instant upgrade. The next day the AC did not work properly in our room. It was Saturday. The staff called a repair team, but they could not fix it. We gave it one more day, but it stayed the same. Staff member offered us to move to their best 2-story suite, which was much more expensive, for the same price. We agreed. They helped to move our things, so it was not hard. On Monday, manager, Gianluca Vallrotonda, came back to work and apologized 100 times for the inconveniance. In the evening there were two bottles of Ferragamo perfumes waiting in our room. What a pleasant surprise! And on top of everything, when we checked out on Tuesday, the bill was reduced from the original price! That was above and beyond our expectations. I want to mention that the lady at the breakfast was extremely nice. I felt like I am visiting my aunt! She treats people like relatives! The breakfast itself is exqusite - all fresh and delicious! I highly recommend this hotel.

We have just had a 2 night stay at Portrait Roma. The exceptional service provided by the Portrait Roma team surpassed anything we have experienced anywhere in the world. The rooms are beautiful - elegant, spacious, quiet, with amazing thought gone into the design and amenities to ensure all needs are met. The location is perfect for exploring Rome on foot. The breakfasts are fantastic, and taken on the rooftop with an incredible view of the Spanish Steps and Rome. Thank you to the Portrait Roma team for an unforgettable stay.
