We recently had a four night stay at the St Regis Rome and we could not be better pleased. The hotel gives a great first impression with their amazing lobby. Check in was quick and efficient. Out room was spacious and well appointed and the bed was super comfortable. The best part of our stay was the wonderful, warm, welcoming service, especially for all the staff at their bar and restaurant. We had breakfast there every morning and dinner twice. Every time their staff made us feel like part of their family. In a city known for its great food and amazing restaurants, the fact that we had dinner here twice tells you everything you need to know about the quality of their food. Every single dish we tried here was delicious. Their breakfast buffet was also exceptional. All in all it was a memorable stay and I highly recommend the St Regis Rome.

This hotel has opened in 1894 by Cesar Ritz, and became part of the Marriott St. Regis family about 10 years ago. We were staying at another property in early July, and stopped by the St. Regis to have a coffee and pastry and noted the serenity one feels upon entering. There were two young ladies playing violins in the lobby as we arrived and we made a note to stay at the St. Regis on our return to Rome several weeks later. It felt wonderful to entered the elegant air conditioned lobby again. We checked in and the room was luxurious befitting the St. Regis standard. Marble bathrooms, quality linens, comfortable bed. We enjoyed the hotel restaurant that evening and were surprised when our waiter appeared with a bottle of champagne and opened it with a sword for the room and poured drinks all around. Great fun and good people watching. The location is walking distance to the train station and right next to the old Roman bathhouses.

Amazing! The breakfast was the best I have ever had at a hotel. The food was outstanding. The service fantastic - we stayed twice in July and one of those times with butler service. The beds were so soft - the bathrooms immaculate. The concierge helped with some dinner suggestions that were spot on. The neighborhood is great, we felt very safe and had historical sites and dining within walking distance.

After visiting the Amalfi Coast, we were thankful that this hotel was our next stop in Rome. The rooms are spacious, the hotel is immaculate, and the staff go above and beyond to accommodate you. We were spoiled and ate very well at the on-site restaurant.

The hotel is gorgeous and the service is unmatched. I would like to acknowledge a few people at the hotel: the bell staff, Claudio and Luigi, who are so professional and helpful. The breakfast chef Christiano who’s the nicest chef you’ll ever meet and knows more Boston sports history practically than I do. And Omar and Francisco at the Concierge desk who set up a last minute half day tour of Rome for us and knocked it out of the park. Not to mention the bartenders and the cocktail menu is fantastic--best Negroni and French 75. Would probably skip room service the next time, but other than that I'd highly recommend the St Regis for the ultimate stay in Rome!
