Villa Agrippina Gran Melia

A beautiful junior suite had all the amenities we wanted and all the space we needed for luggage from several weeks of touring and shopping. Staff were as accommodating as could be. The spa staff were both warm and very professional; appertivo at sunset by the pool was perfect. We could walk almost anywhere we wanted to go in Rome. It's really a bit of an oasis!

At this level, I do not expect to be commenting on the basics. At this level, a good hotel is one that makes me feel like a welcome guest and a friend. I didn't find it here. Instead, I found staff who were stiff, operating according to some head office manual, not allowed to express their own skills and regimented into a corporate culture that made me, as a guest, feel like a unit of revenue. I have found this before at Meliá. It's a great pity. They have here a beautiful building in a good location. The staff are obviously a credit to the brand. So please, trust them and stop regimenting them. And definitely stop doing this hand on chest gesture. It looks very silly! Finally, the prices of drinks are ridiculous.

24 hours was not enough! We stayed one night upon arriving in Rome before heading to Orvieto. Every staff member was genuine, helpful, and could not do enough for you. Grounds = gorgeous Room & bathroom = gorgeous Breakfast = AMAZING Location = perfect The staff at breakfast (Monica!) were LOVELY! We could have visited with them all day. Thank you Villa Agrippina, next time we will stay much longer!

Our stay at Gran Meliá Rome Villa Agrippina was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. The hotel itself is beautiful—elegant, peaceful, and perfectly located to enjoy the magic of Rome. What made this experience so special, however, was the people. The staff are truly the sixth star of the hotel. Their warmth, kindness, and professionalism made us feel more like guests in a home than visitors in a hotel. A special thank you to Alessandro, whose attention to detail and genuine hospitality made our stay even more memorable. His care and dedication truly reflect the spirit of the hotel. I cannot recommend this place enough. If you are looking for a place in Rome where luxury meets heartfelt hospitality, this is it. I will definitely return.

Gorgeous hotel in a calm setting with lovely gardens- perfect after the hustle & bustle of the city. Very clean and well run. Nothing was too much trouble for the excellent staff. Great breakfast buffet with a wide choice, the pastries and cakes were delicious. The bar area was beautifully furnished and very relaxing. The ladies in the concierge were very helpful. Easy to get around by buses nearby. Thank you for a great stay!
