Nice but not worth the price

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

The hotel is very grand however for the price per night it’s pretty poor in terms of cleanliness upon arrival I had to ask for a cleaner to remove the hair from the bathroom floor and the phone was very dusty. We stayed for 3 nights and the location staff were excellent. But I wouldn’t stay again the toilet seat didn’t fit on the toilet and the shower was terrible you have to climb in the bath the walls were marked. Overall very average

Beautiful hotel spectacular spa and pool!

What an amazing experience! We were welcomed after a long flight from David and the trip kept getting better from there. We honestly booked for the location, beautiful rooms, all the great things but wow was their pool and spa perfect. We relaxed in the steam sauna and had a nice swim in their indoor pool which was the perfect way to unwind after arriving. Cannot wait for our next trip!

Our favorite hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Once again this hotel stood out on our trip, we stayed at this hotel 2 years ago as well. It was just as wonderful as we remembered, if not more so. The service is exceptional, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the bar—and its fantastic mixologists—remains a favorite. We knew the next time we came to Rome we would stay here again and the hotel was even better the 2nd time we visited.

Another Wonderful Stay at A Favorite Rome Hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

We traveled as a group of six family members for a three-night stay—our third visit to Rome and our third time staying at this hotel. We chose it again because of its excellent location and consistently positive experiences. Check-in was smooth, and although we arrived early and the rooms weren’t ready, the staff quickly stored our luggage so we could explore landmarks like the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and Pantheon. Prior to arrival, I had requested two connecting rooms, and the hotel was able to accommodate this, placing the other rooms nearby as well. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared, with welcome gifts of snacks and drinks in each. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay, assisting with anything we needed. We especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet each morning—great variety and a pleasant atmosphere, making it a perfect start to the day.

Hanging in there by a thread

Beautiful building from the outside right next door the US Embassy on a nice boulevard. But on the inside, this place is starting to get old. It still has the right bones but could definitely use a makeover. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings and an older, regal aesthetic. The bathrooms have all the amenities but the faux marble needs patching. Housekeeping service is excellent and they are very good about replenishing you daily with water bottles - very vital during this summer's European heatwave. There are only 2 elevators, so being on a lower floor has its advantages. The air conditioning is good, as is the wifi. You can get a great night's sleep in this place (curtains do a great job keeping the light out). The breakfast buffet has a little of everything and is very popular - the quality of the food is adequate but nothing to rave about. The fitness center in the spa is a bit on the smaller side and the equipment is dated. The location of the resort puts you within 15-20 min walking distance to Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, etc. The bellmen are helpful. There are always a couple of concierge staff. Surprisingly, the front desk seems to never have more than 2 staff members, so the lines are quite line.
