Extremely unprofessional
The Sunday brunch on the 14th floor was lovely. However I experienced severe diarrhea on that evening, most likely from bad shellfish there. I wrote a complaint to the hotel & never received any answer…SHAMEFUL

A first class hotel
A stunning location with amazing views. The hotel is excellent with first class rooms. Staff are very nice, attentive and fun. We enjoyed a lovely meal in the the Riviera and the pool bar. Tony from the Mumbles was very good! Will be back

You won't want to leave!
We couldn't fault this wonderful hotel! Everything was luxury and we felt as if we were in our own little cocoon for the four nights we were there. From the pick up at Nice Station, to the very friendly reception on our arrival (and the wonderful upgrade - thank you again!!), to the pool, to the food and drink, to the Sommelier who took time out from his busy schedule to treat us to a wine tasting, to the very convenient shuttle into Monaco, to the comfortable bed and great sleep, to the views (oh yes, the views!!!) - wow wow wow!! We love the Connaught Hotel in London and wanted to see whether the Maybourne Riviera would reach the exceptionally high standards we have experienced there. I can assure you, it really does. We were so sad to leave and can't wait to return!

BE CAREFUL Cartier watch missing after stay
This is my second time writing the review because the first one was removed. My $30,000 gold Cartier watch went missing on August 21 mysteriously at this hotel, the exact same time as another guest losing a similar watch. The hotel has harassed me to remove my review. I won’t write many more detail details here other than the fact that my personal jewelry bag and backpack were accessed without my permission during the process of unpacking. I requested my clothing to be unpacked and they went into my jewelry bag in purse. I have now contacted the embassy who is forwarding this case to the FBI. BEWARE.
