Fantastic location

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 19 hours ago

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, we have already decided to return next year, which is something we rarely do. The location was perfect for us. All the staff very friendly & accommodating. We had a couple of niggles, where we thought there could be improvement. Partial sea view description, should not be used for certain rooms, we certainly felt cheated when this is what was described when we booked our holiday. The bedroom & bathroom itself was absolutely beautiful, but some nights i felt really uncomfortable, as the air conditioning didn’t go any lower than 21, as someone previously mentioned the hotel controls it, which isn’t ideal. Everything else was spot on, beautiful hotel in beautiful surroundings ☀️

Disappointing ‘Indulgence’ Experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 21 hours ago

Disappointing Jet2 ‘Indulgence’ holiday (honeymoon)…..had much better!! The staff were it’s only saving grace. The beds are very uncomfortable (like rocks!!) and pillows terrible…….even after requesting a foam topper for the bed, it was still too firm. The AC was also lacking……and it’s still not high temps of the summer. After a week of extremely poor sleep I’m going home exhausted 😞 The food is good, though so it should be for the price you’re paying. I have had better in other ‘indulgence’ hotels and this one didn’t meet expectations. We chose half board……having had wonderful experiences of this on previous Jet2 ‘Indulgence’ Escapes. Sadly a ‘Buffet’ style (starters and deserts) evening meal, along with a very poor choice of Mains (delivered to your table) is not my idea of ‘indulgence’, very poor. The drinks in the hotel are extremely expensive. Whilst we can afford to pay whatever, we still don’t like to feel like we’re being taken advantage of………we noticed many guests chose to only drink water with their evening meals, when asked, they too felt the wine prices too high. Eg €9-12 for a ‘125ml’ glass, ie a small glass. Whilst the location of the hotel is excellent and the view beautiful, the proximity to the old town just perfect!! For us, the comfort of the bed and room is a top priority, a good nights sleep is not too much and ought to be a given in this type of hotel. Sadly, what we thought would be a perfect honeymoon hotel, wasn’t and we will not be returning.

Great hotel, rooms are gorgeous, big & spacey and a great location

What a location! What a hotel! Loved it here and would go back in a heartbeat. Rooms were fabulously spacious with superb bathroom ! The view from room 212 was beautiful overlooking the entire bay. Simply gorgeous. My only negative comment but wouldn't put me off going again, was the beds (in the bedroom), they are most definitely on the firm side which is not my particular favourite I have to say, but other than that 10/10. The breakfasts were good, good choice buffet, cold meats etc, with multiple choice on hot foods, al a carte - eggs any way you like them , omelettes etc etc. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Beds round pool very very comfy with a deep mattress (shame I couldn't take one upstairs to the main bedroom !!) Went with two other couples, and we all said we'd go back without a doubt. The hotel is in a fabulous location too, a 15 minute stroll into Old Town which is beautiful. . We did kayaking , bike riding and a boat trip. All good.

Beautiful hotel with plenty nearby to explore

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We stayed here in May 2026 as a family of 6. This is a beautiful hotel in a wonderful location. The hotel and grounds are impeccable and the hotel staff are really friendly and helpful. We had a free wine and olive oil tasting that came with our room which was great. Definitely explore the woodland area as well as the town. We loved pizzeria bura for evening meals, bar sax for cocktails and Augusto coffee house for an early morning coffee and pastry (cash only though). There is so much nearby to see and do. Breakfast was amazing. The buffet was lovely and you can order as much from the menu as you like. It really suited us that you could have breakfast up until midday. Our only gripe was that on one day, the hotel hosted a big event while we were there. This limited availability of sun loungers by the pool so 6 of us in our family were sharing 2 sun beds which was annoying considering the event didn’t actually start until much later in the day. That was only one day though and the rest of the time there was no problem getting them whatever time of day we went to the pool. The pool staff are really attentive and will help move things for you and get you shade when you need it. We were also big fans of the beach club. Very relaxing there with wonderful service. This is definitely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at and I would highly recommend it.

Wonderful 7 days away

Wonderful hotel, very attentive staff, from concierge staff to housekeeping team to restaurant staff to outside pool attendants. The atmosphere was one id relaxed calmness. Breakfast was good and plentiful. It was quiet when both inside and outisde in the hotel complex with little or no intursion from the other hotels in the surrounding area. Inside and outside were spotlessly clean.
