I stayed in the hotel associated with the winery. See separate review for hotel experience. The restaurant is large and extremely nicely laid out, much of it in the covered terrace built on the side of the old farmhouse. The chef is totally brilliant. The food was creative, beautifully presented, and tasted great. Highlights for me were the use of local black truffles. As I was staying I’ve the Christmas period I ate there 6 times over 4 days. There are plenty of different choices on the different lunch and dinner menus. The wine list is HUGE, with a large selection of wine from the vineyard and all around Istria. There are also international wines eg from France and Italy. The sommelier Andy was exceptional - we had fun together debating the nose of certain wines. The waitresses are also so professional and friendly, especially Lucia and Nika. This place is great for a few special meals in you are a foody and a wine buff.

We recently stayed at Meneghetti Resort & Winery, and it ended up being the highlight of our entire trip. This property absolutely deserves every bit of its five-star rating—and then some. Service: The service was outstanding from start to finish. Every member of the team was warm, attentive, and genuinely focused on making our stay exceptional. You feel looked after in a way that’s increasingly rare. Food: The food alone is worth the trip. Despite dining at several Michelin-starred restaurants during our time in Croatia, the meals at Meneghetti were easily the best we had—beautifully executed, creative, and consistently memorable. Honestly, it’s crazy this place doesn’t already have a Michelin star. Winery: The on-site winery and wine tour were another major highlight. The wines are excellent, and the experience felt both educational and relaxed. It’s the perfect complement to the resort’s overall atmosphere. Beach Club: The beach club is very cool—stylish, peaceful, and a great place to unwind with a cocktail or a glass of their wine. It feels exclusive without being pretentious. Location: One important thing to note: the resort is very remote. That’s part of its charm, but it does come with a practical consideration—there are essentially no taxis in the area unless you’re willing to pay a crazy amount. Planning transfers in advance is a must. Overall, Meneghetti is a truly special place. If you’re looking for a luxurious, serene escape with exceptional food, world-class service, and a fantastic winery, this is it. We can’t wait to return.

Great romantic getaway for couples. Quiet and secluded. Good food and service. Spa is my favourite. A lot of amenities available on site.

This boutique hotel is a true gem set in pristine nature. The surrounding gardens and landscaping are simply breathtaking, creating a serene and elegant atmosphere. The rooms are beautifully designed with great attention to detail, combining comfort and style. The staff is both warm and professional, making you feel truly cared for throughout your stay. The culinary experience is outstanding – everything from the excellent breakfast to the refined selection of their own wines and an impressive wine list. I highly recommend dining in their restaurant at least once during your stay. Don’t be misled by the concise menu – every dish is of the highest quality, prepared with creativity and precision, and absolutely worth trying. The hotel offers everything you could possibly need: flawless service, privacy, stylishly furnished rooms, and an unforgettable gastronomic experience. Adding to this is their chic beach club, located about 2.5 km away (with an organized shuttle service), as well as opportunities for golf practice, tennis, and outdoor fitness. A place where elegance meets authenticity – I wholeheartedly recommend it and would return without hesitation.

10 rooms in the hotel + 49 “residences” that are made up of 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms. Most with private pools in a private garden area. Some with kitchens. The area is secluded and I would say meant to be a “ go-rest and relax” A nod to its Italian heritage, hence the Meneghetti name, this Croatian owned property should ONLY be visited if you want to be spoiled! Impressive on all levels. The property is stunning, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. They produce both quality wines and olive oils. Wine production is stated at 100k bottles, yet the winery production appears smaller. Wine tour is limited in scope, while wine tasting area is updated and modern. Red blend is the go-to! Adult only pool in a world class spa. No way you can’t find a water treatment to fall in love with. Outdoor common area pool is beautiful surrounded by vineyards, comfortable seating and food and beverage amenities. Beach club is beautiful but a drive 2.5 km away and not an easy drive. TAKE the SHUTTLE only! Rough road. But one beautiful ending to the road. WATER SHOES are a must on this classic, rocky Croatian beach. Crystal clear water, great food and lounging accommodations. Food is phenomenal. Breakfast included has any option you can imagine with prepared to order items. Dinner was great and no real options to dine off site. But you won’t want to. Monkfish and sea bass dishes were incredible, while veal chop and ravioli with regional truffles equally high quality. But, like most places it’s the STAFF! Isabella is young in age but mature beyond her years in this business as a hotel ambassador/concierge. ANYTHING should be her middle name! Luka is behind the bar and will be a great teacher to Ivan who just wants to dig in and be helpful. Others abound and like most Croatians just want to serve happiness and satisfaction! They all succeeded.
