Excellent venue, well thought out layout creating a great venue for entertaining a large party. Some of the bar staff were inexperienced but what they lacked in ability they made up for with effort and good manners. The food was great and served in a timely manner.

I attended the #FifeBA25, Hosted by the Old Corse Hotel. The event was fantastic, and was organised extremely well. This is all thanks to Aaron and his Team, who carried out an outstanding service during the event, they could not have done anymore to make us feel looked after and welcomed. The meal was also outstanding, all three Courses looked fantastic and tasted even better! A special mention has to be given to Aaron, who not only ran an extremely swift and professional service throughout the event, but consistently checked in on our group, and many others, personally to ensure that everyone had everything they needed to have the most enjoyable experience. He is a credit to the Old Course, and his Team. Overall, an exceptional experience, and we will be returning to the Old Course Hotel due to the reasons above.

I had the pleasure of being invited to The Old Course Hotel to experience the newly refurbished Road Hole Bar and Restaurant—and what a night it was! From the moment we arrived, the bar staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming, setting the tone for a truly memorable evening. The new interiors are nothing short of exquisite, striking a perfect balance between sophistication and comfort. The Road Hole Restaurant itself is a masterclass in elegance and opulence, yet it exudes a calm, relaxed atmosphere that invites you to unwind and savour every moment. If you’re looking to treat yourself, I can’t recommend The Road Hole Restaurant at The Old Course Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort highly enough. It’s an experience not to be missed.

The Old Course Hotel Golf Resort & Spa delivers exactly what you’d expect from one of the most iconic golfing destinations in the world. While we didn’t stay at the hotel this time, we were lucky enough to snag a tee time through the lottery system and wow, what a day it turned out to be. Walking out onto the historic Old Course feels like stepping into a living postcard. The sea breeze carried across the fairways, the sound of distant waves crashing just beyond the dunes, and the unmistakable view of the Swilcan Bridge it all created an atmosphere that was both serene and electric with history. The greens were meticulously kept, and every hole offered a new challenge (especially with that infamous Scottish wind keeping us honest!). Even though we were visiting golfers, the staff treated us with warmth and enthusiasm. There was an understated respect among the players too it felt like we were all aware we were part of something special. We didn’t have a chance to explore the spa or the full range of hotel amenities, but based on the service and grounds alone, it’s easy to imagine the full experience would be nothing short of luxurious. The resort surrounds you with elegance without being overbearing a perfect match for the setting.

We are massive fans of St Andrews, it's a brilliant place to visit. Pushed the boat out and booked 2 nights at The Old Course Hotel. Brilliant room, overlooking the clubhouse and up toward the Road Hole green. Extremely comfortable bed and superb shower and bathroom. Dining was a different story, we ate out both nights. Menu's in the hotel itself just too chi-chi for us and the more down to earth Jigger Inn was fully booked. The spa was also fully booked although I was prepared to pay the additional fee (wow!) through gritted teeth. Hotel staff were excellent breakfast staff were average as was the breakfast. Anyway it's off the bucket list now and we were fairly happy on departure.
