For me the room was fine the shower was good and the bed was comfortable, the gardens look like they’ll be amazing in the summer, the whole place just lacked soul and warmth, for me a really sterile atmosphere, the breakfast hall in the morning with background piano music felt really pretentious with a choice of water or orange juice and limited continental buffet choice, the tiny hospital tv in the room salvaged for at least 20 years, the efficient but fairly cold staff was consistent across the hotel, it just didn’t do it for me

This hotel has everything for a visitor - comfort, style and great cuisine. The staff are genuine and friendly and the premesis is dog friendly. It is set in beautiful gardens at a stones throw from St Andrews - the best of both worlds!

Walking into town is straightforward, easy to find and the staff are extremely welcoming. The rooms are very clean and the food is good quality.

Stayed at the Rufflets for a midweek break. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Overall, very happy with our experience there. My only criticism is that we found the bed a little uncomfortable but not majorly so.
