What a wonderfully beautiful and unique place to experience St Augustine! Our room, the grounds. the food and the staff are beyond exceptional! The hotel is nestled in the heart of the historic district with many fun shops, restaurants and museums, but you actually feel like you are in Europe as you are surrounded by many statues and fountains from Spain and Italy! I highly recommend this amazing hotel! You will not regret it! I can't wait t to return!

What an enchanting place to stay. A true boutique experience. Quiet, comfortable, gracious, with an expansive and so delicious breakfast. The brown sugar cinnamon scones were excellent as was the fritatta. The brick paths throughout the grounds with lovely water gardens, each with its own trickling fountain make it magical.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here for 2 nights for our 10 year wedding anniversary at the end of May 2026. Location wise, its fantastic. We left the car parked up (via the Valet) for our entire stay and walked everywhere. The atmosphere here is quaint, cosy, romantic, and authentic. The room we stayed in was on the first floor of Worcester House and was a fantastic size with a lovely bathroom, and additional seating area. The amenities like the coffee machine in the room, snacks, and reusable water bottles were fab. They had a brand new water machine in the lobby area that you could use any time. The complimentary sangria was a welcome surprise upon check in, especially after a long journey from the UK! Cleanliness was excellent both in the room as well as around the grounds. We sat outside for breakfast every morning in the garden area which was well kept (the breakfast was a good selection too) and enjoyed spotting the lizards and pretty flowers. All the staff we encountered during our stay were really lovely and very accommodating when asked questions or for recommendations from two newbies to the area. There is a charge for parking/resort fees here, however this was made clear to us via our travel agent in advance of our stay. Other than this, I cannot comment on value for money as we booked this accommodation of one of seven places we were touring as a package holiday. I would have no hesitation in highly recommending people stay here though, we had a great experience here.

Came here expecting the luxurious boutique hotel experience shown on the website and was truly disappointed. The property looks nothing like the bright, airy, renovated rooms shown in the photos. Our room was dark, dingy, outdated, and felt more like a basement Airbnb than a boutique hotel. The grounds and “gardens” were also rundown and unkempt rather than charming or well-maintained. The entire property felt tired and neglected. Check-in was awkward from the start. There was no warm welcome, no explanation of amenities, and overall the staff seemed indifferent. When we raised concerns about the condition of the room, we were initially told there were no other rooms available. Somehow that later changed, but the alternative room was just as disappointing …dark, accessed by steep rickety stairs, and with a strong unpleasant sulfur/rotten egg smell outside. What’s most frustrating is how misleading the marketing feels compared to the reality of the property. Based on the photos and reviews, we booked this trip for my mom’s birthday expecting a relaxing upscale experience, and instead it became a major disappointment. We even asked if we could leave early and were refused. I would not recommend staying here if you are expecting the experience advertised online or any charm or a luxury vacation.

The Collector Inn in St. Augustine was extremely disappointing. We booked what was advertised as a king suite and were placed in what feels like a dark basement apartment with a musty smell, almost no natural light, and only two lamps lighting the entire room. The property is not remotely luxurious as advertised — the fountains were dirty and the grounds looked neglected rather than peaceful or upscale. When I politely explained to management that the accommodations were unacceptable and asked to leave early, I was told I would still be charged for all three nights. Very poor customer service and completely misleading presentation online. I would not stay here again.
