About the Hotel
With its spectacular location in St Jean Bay, Eden Rock – St Barths has been the byword for one-of-a-kind hospitality ever since mercurial French Caribbean aviator adventurer and occasional treasure-seeker Rémy de Haenen first welcomed guests to his Eden Rock home on the ocean, during the 1950s. The place quickly established itself as the preferred private and discreet bolt-hole of many glamourous Hollywood characters who quickly became friends of St Barths. Howard Hughes Greta Garbo Robert Mitchum Gore Vidal Baron Rothschild David & Peggy Rockfeller Princess Lee Radziwill… amongst numbers of other fine beautiful and talented men and women… A sense of safety and freedom was established… and of style… and of casual elegance… and of spirit… and of ambition… and all of which continues to this day and is strengthened now with the regular welcoming of very many current and similarly interesting and brilliant celebrity guests and friends of modern times.

You get what you pay for.
I want to say terrible !!! So everyone stays away. Absolute quality from the gate to the beach. We travel far and wide. Four seasons , Sandy Lane , Claridges etc. this is up there at the top. The “Frenchness” is the key. Service amazing food to match. Prices fairly represent what you are getting also. I guess you could say to expect top of the tops at £5k per night. Personally we all loved it. One thing I don’t like , is the Americanisation of the way the bill is presented , unlike the French way. Gratuity on top of service is expected. Other than that superb but pricey.

Family Vacation St Barths
We vacationed at St Barths Eden ROC at Blvilla My Wat with our family of 8. It was by far the best vacation we have ever experienced. From the gorgeous island to the superior customer service and staff. Sebastien was our Concierge and made sure to take care of every request or interest we had. Our personal Chef and assistant , Natasha were excellent. We had breakfast cooked every morning which was amazing! We also had our last night there with a private dinner at the villa, which was superb . Every reservation went smoothly and flowed perfectly with any changes or additions we had. The only thing I would suggest for future is to let people traveling know how the restaurants may or may not have a party atmosphere depending on the time or day of your visit. Overall, this was on our bucket list for years and now will be a repeated trip we make in the future! Thank you for everything!!!!! It was truly magical. Sincerely, Kelly Spinner
