Vanity Fair calls Le Sereno a “flawless diamond in St. Barth’s,” and the moniker is well deserved: Perched on the Grand Cul de Sac, a private, reef-protected cove of Caribbean sand, the family-operated resort radiates effortless elegance. The spacious, airy suites and villas reflect the aesthetic of Parisian designer Christian Liaigre, whose past projects include the private residences of Calvin Klein and Karl Lagerfeld. Pros lead tennis and kite surfing lessons and superstar team of chefs helm Le Sereno Restaurant, where entrées such as maple-miso sea bass take center stage.

In need of major upgrades. Stayed in the Grand Suite Plage. There is definitely a reason why they do not show you a picture of the entire bathroom with shower on their website. Far from luxury accommodations as my pictures will denote. Shower is more like you would find while camping. MOLD? growing on the bottom of shower. Toilet across the hall which did not work properly. Single sink. After complaining several times to management, they did not respond until the second last night of our stay where they offered to move us to a different room. Highly recommend you do not stay here until the alleged $25 million in upgrades are completed. Resort is very quiet and away from any of the nightlife or shopping that the island has to offer.

Another lovely stay at Le Sereno St Barths. For my wife and I, Le Sereno provides the perfect stay: the quieter venue of Anse de Grand Case, professional and genuinely friendly staff, excellent food and wine, and lovely rooms.

We enjoyed our four night stay here in a bungalow pool room with king bed. The best part of our trip was the amazing staff!! Everyone was friendly and super helpful! Many of them relocate here from Lake Como and are well trained in excellence. The location is nearby many nice beaches and dining choices and a short drive to Gustavia. Our LHW reservation included a delicious breakfast each day. We also enjoyed a dinner at Al Mare. Even though it was rebuilt after the hurricane it is being redone again in summer 2026.

I wanted to love this place. First of all I’ll start with the price, 2550 euros per night for a grand suite plage room, taxes not included. The room itself is very nice and spacious with a lovely sea view from the terrace. Within the first hour of being in our room, and after I had completely unpacked, we started hearing construction noises from the adjacent room - hammering, sanding, metal objects clanging about. Obviously I complained and we were moved to a room that was adjoining with another room (and slightly less of a view). Nothing was offered for the inconvenience of repacking and moving. When we got back from dinner that night we discovered that the people in the adjoining room were smoking marijuana and the smell was so strong they might as well have been smoking it in our room. The smell continued well into the next day. Finally I asked reception to please ask our neighbors to smoke outside (as per the hotel rule), this seemed to work as the smell dissipated. The next night we had dinner reservations in Gustavia and I had called throughout the day to confirm that a taxi would be arranged at 7:30pm. Finally after calling the front desk again I was told, at the last minute, that our taxi was confirmed for 7:15. My husband and I then rushed to reception only to find we had no taxi and no taxi would be coming. We then had to wait about 30 minutes for the hotel driver to finish his dinner offsite and come pick us up. The following morning we discovered that housekeeping did not refill our coffee service and I waited an hour for a pot of coffee from room service. The hotel staff was very friendly throughout our stay but I feel as though some sort of accommodation should have been made given the amount of inconveniences we experienced. So, I have sadly concluded that the service here does not equal or warrant the hefty price tag.

What a great visit to Le Sereno. The resort was just what we were looking for; small, unpretentious, quiet with an strong sense of place. Was hesitant to go back to St Barths as i felt the island has lost alot of its charm, but Le Sereno changed my attitude.
