My mom and I stayed at the Gyp Sea Hotel in St. Barth after spending a day at the beach club the year before—an experience so warm and memorable that I knew it would be the perfect place to return for her birthday. This time, our expectations were not only met but deeply exceeded. The staff here is extraordinary in every sense. From the heartfelt welcome to the handwritten birthday card, balloons, and little treats, every gesture felt personal and sincere. They saved our beach bed each morning, remembered our favorite drinks, greeted us with genuine smiles, and offered care that never once felt routine. They made my mom feel seen, heard, cherished, and truly celebrated—especially at a moment in her life when she needed that kindness more than ever. A very special thank you to the people who filled our week with joy and comfort: Jade, Cédric, Romain, Jean, Noémie, Manon, and Baptiste. Because of you, we shared a week we will carry in our hearts for a long time. May all the love and generosity you give to others return to each of you tenfold. We will be back 🫶🏽✨️ Thank you ❤️

We had the most amazing week in St Barth and am so happy we chose the Gyp Sea Hotel. This was our first time visiting the island and what a wonderful experience! We arrived late Saturday evening at the ferry doc and were warmly welcomed by Ocean who drove us up to the hotel. It was a quick 10 minute drive from the ferry doc and along the way Ocean pointed out the most beautiful views of Gustavia. (Thank you Ocean! :)) After arriving to the hotel (where we were also warmly greeted and offered the most tasty coconut marshmallows) we quickly checked in and were able to enjoy a great meal in our beautiful and comfortable room. We highly recommend ordering the burger and french fries. So yummy! Since we had a very long journey (almost a full 24 hours of travel), we went to sleep early but when we woke up, the most beautiful view from our balcony left us speechless. I miss waking up to the most beautiful sunrise every morning. Breakfast at the hotel is not something to miss out on. Not only is it absolutely delicious from the organic eggs, refreshing fruit plate, and THE BEST coffee, but you also get entertained but the friendly tortoises who are hoping you share a bite of fruit with them. Beware they may think your toes look like a nice blueberry! Gustavia or the Gyp Sea beach club were only a quick 10 minute drive and after breakfast we took off to explore and enjoy the island. (Note: When booking our stay I selected the "Drive Happy" package which provided a car rental. This is such a great offering as it made booking a rental car SO easy. The car was also already at the hotel when we arrived which was perfect). Since we were staying at the hotel, we were able to enjoy the beach club without having to pay an additional fee. I highly recommend spending some time there as it is located on the best beach in St Barth at least in my option - St Jean. The water is beautiful and we got to watch the planes take off from the airport which is truly a sight to see. Drinks and food are also amazing. We got the grilled lobster on our last day and oh my, it was GOOD. It was also caught that morning and was probably the freshest lobster we've ever had. Everyone at the beach club was super fun and energetic as well! When we returned, our room was always refreshed. I also LOVED the Pure Altitude products provided and after a long beach day, they were just what we needed. The hotel was also very peaceful it felt like a quiet oasis. We enjoyed looking at the view from our balcony with an espresso before getting ready for dinner. On our last day, we were so sad to leave Gyp Sea but grateful that we got to experience such a special place. The hotel provided us a ride to the ferry doc - thank you Simon for taking us!! :) We loved every minute of our time here at the Gyp Sea hotel. Truly it is one of the best places we have stayed and not only was the location and design of the hotel beautiful but the staff made this stay so much more special. We cannot wait to come back again. Thank you to everyone at Gyp Sea who made our first time in St Barth absolutely spectacular!

Top notch service, food, cleanliness and views! Highly recommend!! The staff is super friendly! The breakfast every morning was so special being served next to the pool. Our room was amazing with fabulous views of the mountains!
