About the Hotel

With a distinct charm only found in the West Indies, Grenada is known for its tranquil bays, gentle island breezes, warmhearted and welcoming vibe. Secluded by verdant green hills on the south coast, the much anticipated Six Senses La Sagesse sits between a crescent shaped bay and L'Anse Pere ocean front, set around a shimmering lagoon. The newly built and sustainably driven resort mimics a picturesque Caribbean village, influenced by the region’s traditional architecture. There are 56 pool suites, combining eco-credentials and comfort all with outdoor terraces leading to a private plunge pool. 15 villas enjoy a prime hillside or oceanfront setting, ranging between one, two, and four bedrooms. The five four-bedroom villas located on a Bluff offer a 270-degree view of one of the most coveted locations in the Caribbean. This jewel is bursting with things to do and places to explore for the whole family.

Reviews for Six Senses La Sagesse

Beautiful resort with top level service and spa/gym, but beware of 1-2 quirks

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

I debated whether to give this resort 4 or 5 stars, because even though I had a geat time during my stay, there were some things that were not perfect. Ultimately I ended up deciding to give 5 stars because the service and staff is so great. Here is a list of the pros and cons: Pros - as I noted, amazing service. The team is super friendly, very accommodating and friendly. The rooms are well-designed and nicely laid out. The resort has two beautiful pools, plus a plunge pool on your deck. The food is delicious. The spa and gym are amazing. Cons - very small beach (which was overrun with seaweed while I was there). They are putting a new, large Intercontinental in next door which will put even more pressure on the small beach. If you are a beach person, this probably is not for you (though they do have shuttles to Grand Anse Beach which is really beautiful. And privacy is a little bit of an issue. The top level suites and villas overlook the lower level ones - you can see into all rooms' private pools and outdoor showers. So if you are planning on showering naked outside or laying out by your pool, you will be seen by other guests.

Amazing service from the six sense staff, from the moment we entered the security gate to the restaurant! Darcia was our server and she was amazing, she was very friendly and thorough with everything. She ensured that we were well taken care of and as locals, it was quite refreshing! We would absolutely recommend and be back again!

One of the best stays we have ever had

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

Where do I begin? Have been blessed to travel to numerous 5 star hotels with my wife and this might have been our favorite. The room is beautiful and the private pool is a great touch but what’s set this property apart is the wellness focus AND the people! Leslie Ann was heaven sent. They knew it was our baby moon and handmade a hat for our daughter (due in December). They were so attentive, helped plan events for us and truly made it feel like we had a dedicated staff for the trip. We never go back to hotels or cities but this property is already being considered for our anniversary next year. If you want peaceful environments, top notch cuisine, and a great staff. No regrets staying at Six Senses La Sagesse

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

We spent 14 nights at Six Senses La Sagesse and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. Having seen some of the early reviews, we weren’t sure if it would be right for us, but our stay completely exceeded expectations. The food was excellent throughout, with a fantastic selection at breakfast and some outstanding meals at Sea Fire. The Caribbean influence really shines through in both the dining and the overall feel of the resort. What made the stay truly special was the staff – so warm, friendly and welcoming. Our 18-month-old daughter was doted on and nothing was ever too much trouble for her. We thoroughly enjoyed the spa facilities, and the service across the resort was great. We stayed half the time in a sea view room and the other half in a one-bed villa – both were beautiful, with the villa adding an extra level of privacy and space for our daughter to explore. We also took a lovely trip to Grand Anse beach. It was well worth it. The resort beach is reflective of the area - it is a black sand beach. Storms can bring in seaweed but it was absolutely fine. While there is some building work happening next door, it had no impact on our holiday, and it’s good to see continued investment in the area. All in all, this is a great resort where you wouldn’t be sad to spend your holiday. I can only imagine that the hotel will continue to evolve. Huge thanks to the entire team for making our stay so memorable!

Six Senses was Everything!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

My husband and I stayed at Six Senses for 2 nights. Our stay was amazing thanks to the hotel’s wonderful staff, breathtaking views and beautiful villas. The dinner at Sea fire Restaurant was delectable. We were well taken cared of by Kizzy and other restaurant staff. Lastly, I can’t forget to mention Rockel, who ensured we had a safe and enjoyable stay from beginning to end. Thank you Six Senses. We will be back again!
