With a distinct charm only found in the West Indies, Grenada is known for its tranquil bays, gentle island breezes, warmhearted and welcoming vibe. Secluded by verdant green hills on the south coast, the much anticipated Six Senses La Sagesse sits between a crescent shaped bay and L'Anse Pere ocean front, set around a shimmering lagoon. The newly built and sustainably driven resort mimics a picturesque Caribbean village, influenced by the region’s traditional architecture. There are 56 pool suites, combining eco-credentials and comfort all with outdoor terraces leading to a private plunge pool. 15 villas enjoy a prime hillside or oceanfront setting, ranging between one, two, and four bedrooms. The five four-bedroom villas located on a Bluff offer a 270-degree view of one of the most coveted locations in the Caribbean. This jewel is bursting with things to do and places to explore for the whole family.

The breakfast experience was exceptional and the food quite tasty. We loved the varied offerings and the ambience was outstanding. Our server Sherouna was extremely pleasant and courteous.

I hate writing less than positive reviews but I felt like this was a buyer beware situation so wanted to share our experience and feedback. Overall we had a good stay however this property is not up to Six Senses quality. We had some hesitation booking here after reading reviews and various reddit posts and comparing the photos of the resort to try and get a "true reading" of what the resort is like. If you come here paying and expecting an Intercontinental/Sheraton/Marriott, you'll be fine. If you come here paying and expecting Six Senses, you'll be very disappointed. The Good: - Location - this is a con for some people but it's a huge plus for us. We didn't mind that the resort was 45-60mins from anywhere. We liked the seclusion, off the beaten path-ness of the location. Grenada is not your stereotypical Caribbean island (white sand, turquoise waters, etc.) it's more like Hawaii so think cliffs, lush greenery, rough seas, dramatic landscapes and La Sagesse was perfect. Views were great. - Staff - very friendly Caribbean staff with a few foreign workers, all warm and well-intentioned but service culture in the way we expect it from a Six Senses-like property just isn't a Caribbean trait so service is inconsistent and slow, and requires a lot of hand holding and follow up to get what you want. Fine if this is a Intercontinental or lower category, but not an ultra luxury resort. - Room - large and spacious with great views. - Resort is large enough that it is fairly private (except during breakfast), I would guess 30-40% occupancy and the property felt private. - Food was average to good. A bit inconsistent with the good part. - Very well equipped fitness area and spa. The bad: - Poor quality of construction. For a 1-year old resort, the wear and tear is significant and you can tell cheap materials and poor labor was used during construction. Other than the immediate landscaping surrounding the entrance, lobby and pool areas which was lush and beautiful (as one would expect in Grenada), the rest of the grounds were strangely bare, poorly planted and maintained - think dried/dying plants, weeds, lots of exposed soil, patchy landscaping, possible irrigation issue. Walk along La Sagasse beach to La Sagasse Boutique resort where its beautifully lush and green and you'll see the dramatic contrast. That landscaping should have been what the Six Senses felt like but sadly it is far from it. I felt sorry for the landscaping crew as it seems like an endless battle. - Room layouts lack privacy. You're stacked on the top of another villa with poor design for privacy considerations in the private pool/deck areas. You can literally see your neighbors below you swimming and sunbathing in their "private pools". Similarly, if you're on the lower tier, you can look up and see your neighbors in their bathrooms. - Spa hours are inconsistent for a wellness resort. What wellness resort closes their spa facilities at 5:30pm??? Most wellness junkies use the spa at night for a peaceful bedtime ritual. - Location - Six Senses is known for their exotic location, beautiful natural landscapes and privacy. La Sagasse was a perfect location but the construction missed the mark. Also, the construction next door of Intercontinental resort/condos will add 100+ more rooms may change the vibe/privacy of the area. If you're used to Four Season, Aman, Como, One & Only and other Six Senses properties around the world will be very disappointed (for the price point).

I had an opportunity to experience the Lime & Lunch! Best one so far in Grenada! Loved everything, especially the Gyozas and the beef with rice and some asian spices, absolutely delicious! One employee that stood out and I won’t forget for sure. Her name is Gwen, love her energy so much! I even joked that her name is the same as my grandmother. Had a nice chat with her, she shared her background, and even invited me to come to the Philippines next time hahaha! Overall experience was great, so sad that my flight was on that same day, wish I could go back! Loved the vibes here and the food was DELICIOUS!

It's like paradise; Six Senses La Sagesse.Beautiful villas built in a very special, lush green setting with a lagoon and two beaches, designed to leave no footprint on nature and to preserve its sustainability. Everything available in villas , from raincoats to flip-flops. Even though we went during the low season, the rainy season, it only rained one day in our week-long stay. It was a near-perfect holiday in every way. Early morning walks through the village and on the beach were peaceful. We always chose seafood dishes, and they were delicious. The only dish I didn't like was the pizza; either the sourdough dough hadn't risen properly or the oven wasn't at the right temperature. The workshops were fun. We tried many different ice creams recommended by the friendly Grenadian lady, Britanni. We enjoyed delicious meals at the Seafire Restaurant by the ocean, listening to the sound of the waves. There's a daily shuttle to the magnificent Grand Anse beach every day. We went twice and swam for hours in the turquoise sea. But what impressed me most was the excellent quality of the staff. They were all smiling and their hospitality was 4/4. Housekeeping was flawless. I would especially like to mention one front desk staff member, the elegant Filipino lady Angelifa Barcita. We go there every year around this time for our wedding anniversary and the dinner is always wonderful. We've had unforgettable dinners, especially at Club Med, the masters of entertainment. Again, despite informing them beforehand, it was just an ordinary dinner, nothing special. I was disappointed, but there was nothing I could do. The next morning, Ms. Angelifa asked how the previous night's wedding anniversary dinner went! We told her, and she was very upset; it was clear there had been some coordination issues. That day, as we boarded the Grand Anse shuttle, she gave us a very heartfelt congratulatory message written by hand and translated by a translation program, and when we returned from the beach in the evening, there were wonderful celebratory decorations and a cake in our room. We would like to thank Ms. Angelifa again for this. In short, as someone who has traveled to 103 countries , I was amazed by Spice Island Grenada 🇬🇩 and Six Senses La Sagesse. I especially recommend it to honeymoon couples, those celebrating special occasions, and couples who always stay young at heart. Once you enter your lovely room, you can connect your cell phone to the Marshall speaker, play the song "Grenada 🇬🇩 My Home" by Grenadian singer Kelia on Spotify, which perfectly describes the island, and start meditating while looking at the view.

Had an absolutely wonderful time at Six Senses La Sagesse for our honeymoon. My husband and I wanted a quiet tropical retreat and this resort was perfect. The resort is gorgeous and well-maintained, and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. Everyone had a smile on their face and genuinely seemed happy to be there. The rooms are breathtaking with gorgeous views and the food at the restaurants are fresh and delicious. There is construction going on across the way at a different hotel, but it did not bother us at all. My only regret was that we couldn't spend as much time as we wanted in our plunge pool, but this was not resort's fault. We were in a suite at the top of the hill, and it was very windy, causing the water to splash back on us the entire time. But we made up for it by utilizing the beautiful pool located near one of the restaurants. We also participated in fun activities that were offered, such as candle making, soap making and mixology classes. Lastly, we had a few massages at the spa which were relaxing and lovely. Overall, had an amazing stay at this resort. Everything is very sustainable and eco-friendly and just so peaceful and serene. Can't wait to visit again soon!
