About the Hotel

With a distinct charm only found in the West Indies, Grenada is known for its tranquil bays, gentle island breezes, warmhearted and welcoming vibe. Secluded by verdant green hills on the south coast, the much anticipated Six Senses La Sagesse sits between a crescent shaped bay and L'Anse Pere ocean front, set around a shimmering lagoon. The newly built and sustainably driven resort mimics a picturesque Caribbean village, influenced by the region’s traditional architecture. There are 56 pool suites, combining eco-credentials and comfort all with outdoor terraces leading to a private plunge pool. 15 villas enjoy a prime hillside or oceanfront setting, ranging between one, two, and four bedrooms. The five four-bedroom villas located on a Bluff offer a 270-degree view of one of the most coveted locations in the Caribbean. This jewel is bursting with things to do and places to explore for the whole family.

Reviews for Six Senses La Sagesse

An Exceptional Family Stay at Six Senses

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

We have just returned from a very special 11-night stay at Six Senses La Sagesse, and it truly exceeded expectations. We travelled as a large family, a party of nine (including two babies and a toddler), and the resort could not have made things feel easier, warmer, or more seamless. The standout of this property is undoubtedly the people. Every single member of staff brought such genuine warmth and kindness, creating an atmosphere that felt relaxed, welcoming, and incredibly thoughtful. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and the level of service throughout our stay was exceptional. Childcare was easy to arrange, and we always felt our children were safe, happy, and genuinely cared for (special thank you to Kareena and Caddiesha). The property itself is immaculate. The grounds, rooms, pool areas, and shared spaces are beautifully maintained and feel luxurious without ever being overly formal or pretentious. The whole resort has a laid-back, calming energy that makes it very easy to unwind. The resort is also very easy to get around, with golf buggies available throughout the grounds, making movement between areas effortless and adding to the sense of ease throughout the stay. We also loved the array of activities available throughout our stay. From chocolate-making workshops to a biohacking wellness session, there were many curated experiences to enjoy. The state-of-the-art gym and spa facilities are just perfect — peaceful, beautifully designed, and ideal for fully switching off and recharging. There was plenty to enjoy onsite, but the team was equally helpful in arranging excursions and transport off-property when we wanted to explore more of Grenada. The food deserves a special mention — particularly breakfast, which was outstanding every day. If you appreciate high-quality ingredients, creativity, freshness, and variety, you will be very happy here. One of the loveliest touches was the Scoop ice cream bar, where the ice creams are homemade using surplus ingredients from the kitchen to help reduce food waste. It also added a fun, generous daily ritual, made even better by Chante’s warmth and energy. We also appreciated that filtered water is provided in the rooms and replenished frequently throughout the stay. For guests who prefer bottled mineral water, it is also available for purchase. We made frequent use of the resort’s app throughout our stay. It is intuitive and genuinely useful, allowing guests to explore facilities, browse activities, communicate directly with the team, and even use it as a room key. It made navigating the property and planning our stay remarkably easy. A couple of things worth noting: while there is direct beach access from the property, this is not a traditional beach-destination resort. We were aware of this when booking, so it never felt like a drawback. In practice, we naturally gravitated toward the stunning pool areas and beautifully designed spaces, which are incredibly peaceful and well suited to the overall relaxed atmosphere of the hotel. The resort is located in a quieter residential area of Grenada. Reaching St. George’s or the airport involves approximately a 40-minute drive along winding roads, so transport costs can add up quickly, with taxis generally costing around $100 USD round trip. We also visited during the off-season (mid-to-late May), when the two restaurants alternated evening service. While this meant only one dinner venue was open each night, the team handled it seamlessly, and the chef did an excellent job introducing daily specials to keep things varied and interesting. The quality of the food across both restaurants was consistently excellent. Highlights included the Sunday lunch at SeaFire and a beautiful private lunch setup arranged for my mum’s birthday, which felt incredibly special. From a cost perspective, it is worth noting that a compulsory resort fee of approximately $45 USD per room per day is charged, covering access to many wellness activities and facilities. In addition, a 15% service charge and 15% VAT are added to most purchases throughout the resort, which guests may wish to factor into their budgeting. Overall, this was a memorable and restorative vacation made even more special by the incredible people at Six Senses La Sagesse. We left feeling relaxed, cared for, and very hopeful that we will return one day.

My experience dining at Callaloo restaurant at Six Senses-Grenada was phenomenal! Diandre was the perfect host and accommodated our family with a pleasant, courteous, and fun experience. The food, desserts, and drinks were delicious and infused with the natural flavors and local tastes of Grenada. This is definitely the first of many trips to this Caribbean gem!
