Given the price this place is a HUGE disappointment. It seems to be a renovated hotel only half done. The upscale finishes are lacking: the bathtubs are dull, cracked and the drain doesn’t work (but they give you an old deformed cracked rubber stopper as a fix). The outdoor lanterns look like they were purchased during Primeday Deals, the grounds walking up the stairs from St Helena Street evoke a frat house cleaned up just enough for parents weekend. Service is poor. The staff though pleasant was poorly trained and knew nothing about the hotel or the local area.

This is high end gem in Napa valley. Very comfortable, small resort with a very high level of service. Great pool, stunning views. Excellent food and drinks, very clean comfortable rooms.

The Alila Napa Valley is a must stay resort! The location is ideal for all the wineries in the area, the resort has a beautiful blend of a historic home and modern, the staff were some of the best we have ever been hosted by and we are travelers. The dining was top notch, especially the breakfasts on the patio of the historic home, so special. Our room had a tremendous view of the Beringer vines and the firepit on the balcony was so fun, we sat out there every morning and evening. Great sized rooms with lots of storage and great amenities. The spa was a highlight, the pool was great, and we were spoiled for our Anniversary we were celebrating. So many sweet touches by the staff, personal notes, Schramsberg sparkling wine, and such personal care. Whoever is managing this resort is doing a Fantastic job!

Such a beautiful room overlooking vineyards. Tranquil, serene, walking distance into St. Helena. Outdoor porch with rocking chairs and sofa, fire pit. Pool available. Yoga early morning. Staff is lovely. Restaurant on premises.

Beautiful grounds and excellent advantages as a globalist with Hyatt. Breakfast is delicious and the pool is serene. Valet and shuttle services are quick and efficient. Concierge was young and didn’t really seem to run things too efficiently—we didn’t have our luggage delivered or the globalist advantages explained to us we well as they forgot to note that we had a later checkout after I called it in the morning. Also, it was supposed to be adults only but we did see a child. Again, overall nice stay and view of the vineyards but concierge could do better.
