Alila Napa Valley

What a lovely treat. Our room had an amazing view over , great landscape. Fireplace on the balcony. It could be seen from the bed. Lovely way to fall asleep . Beds so comfortable.. they lean towards the firm side. Toto toilets are a nice touch. Espresso machine and Hot water pot for tea is an added treat for a tea drinker The staff was wonderful. Front desk staff /Reception were patient and receptive. Kevin and others at the valet were great. Wonderful shuttle service. Offered waters every time we ventured out. Brian from the bar staff went out his way to make us feel special. He remembered our drinks from the night before and greeted us by name. He was very attentive, a star employee. The pool was lovely but small. Comfortable lounge chairs blanketed with towels. Plenty of shade and water. Nice views over vineyard and glass fire pit A hot tub would be a nice asset to have and was missed. The spa was pleasant. I do however prefer to have my steam room not multi-sex. The quiet room was serene, with chocolate, dried apricots and walnuts. Hot tea and flavored water

We stayed at Alila Napa Valley from September 30 to October 5 to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and my wife's birthday. It was the right choice. The setup. The property is beautiful, and the St. Helena location puts you in the middle of everything. Weeks before we arrived, Taylor Hill, the lead concierge, sent us a detailed, personal list of wineries and restaurants and helped us shape a plan that mixed smaller producers with a few bigger names. It made the whole trip feel easy. The room. Spectacular. Easily one of the nicest rooms we've stayed in, with outdoor space we loved. The staff. Everyone we dealt with was warm and attentive, start to finish. We did have an air conditioning problem for part of the stay, which happens. What stood out was how it was handled. Christa Rico-Patton, the VIP and Brand Experience Manager, reached out personally, took full ownership, and made sure we felt heard. That's what a great hotel does when something goes wrong. We'd happily come back, and we'd recommend it to any couple marking something special in Napa.

Horrible. Bait and switch personified. Creekside with Vineyard view turned into parking lots on both sides, a noisy street, and thin walls. Was highly disappointing. Not nearly equivalent to the mid tier hotels in the area, let alone the high end.

Perfect adult-oriented property. Kids would not be happy here. But couples and groups looking for a gorgeous place to stay with exceptional service and delicious food/cocktails will be very happy to visit!!

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The rooms are beautiful, the views/tranquility from the decks are amazing, and the food/beverages were excellent. Service was top notch and we overall had an amazing anniversary trip.
