Alila Napa Valley

Staying at the Alila was a wonderful experience. We were able to recharge our batteries, as well as, fun and meaningful activities tour the vineyards. We would go again and encourage others to enjoy as well.

If you're a globalist or planning a vacation using miles, avoid this hotel. It doesn't cater to regular travelers. they refuse to ask me anything as a globalist member of Hyatt.

Beautiful, charming hotel with vineyards view from the bed and balcony with a firepit. Beautiful grounds and pool. The room has a soaking tub and toto automatic washlet toilet. Helpful staff. Healthy, crafted breakfast and smoothies. Daily yoga and fitness classes.

My husband and I booked 3 nights at Alila Napa Valley for our anniversary, and I was genuinely excited to stay here. It was a surprise trip, and given the Alila reputation and price point, I came in with very high expectations. Unfortunately, the experience fell well short of them. The property itself is beautiful, but throughout our stay I found myself disappointed by the lack of attention to detail. There were several amenities and room touches I expected at this level that were either missing or not replenished during our stay. It felt like I had to repeatedly ask for things that should have already been available in the room. The biggest issue was housekeeping. One day we returned after being out all day and found that our room had still not been serviced yet. We then had to wait around while housekeeping came by, which ended up disrupting our plans and taking away from our time enjoying the property. When I requested a late checkout on our final day I was told they couldn't accommodate it. While I understand late checkout is never guaranteed, it felt like a small gesture that could have made a meaningful difference to our overall experience. Ironically, had we booked through Amex, late checkout would have been guaranteed. What disappointed me most was the lack of follow-through. I shared all of these concerns with the front desk upon checkout and was assured that someone would reach out to me. Unfortunately, that never happened. If you're looking for beautiful views, you'll find them. If you're looking for service that matches the price tag, keep looking.

Beautiful location and wonderful and attentive staff. The location gives you convenient access to everything in the valley north of yountville. Room 102 is right above the gym so you may be awoken from workout noise.
