Surrounded by the vineyards of California's Napa Valley, The Wine Country Inn & Gardens is built on the side of a small knoll, offering guests stunning views of vineyards, farmhouses, rolling hills, distant mountains and California's big skies. Romantic suites and cottages are nestled in grounds where cobbled walking paths escort guests through quiet annual flowerbeds, 80 year-old olive trees, 100 year-old oaks, flowering scrubs, creeping vines and a private vineyard. A secluded pool and hot tub present an idyllic spot for utter relaxation, while moments of renewal can be found under the spa tent on the edge of the vineyards. The Wine Country Inn & Gardens offer a romantic escape into the very heart of wine country.

We just stayed at the petit Pali st Helena for the weekend and it was perfect. We have visited multiple locations before this one and this location is tied for our favorite! The vibes are immaculate and this location was done to perfection. The grounds are stunning and so calming. We came to celebrate our 1 year anniversary as well as our baby that will be arriving in the next few weeks. Everyone there was so pleasant and made our stay fantastic. My favorite part about le petit Pali is that the locations and the staff are unmatched while not being pretentious and stuffy. Special thanks to Blair, Douglas and Rachel. Also! Love the continental breakfast and the cookies at night!

We stayed at Le Petit Pali in St. Helena for a celebration weekend and couldn’t have imagined a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond — warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our stay special. No matter what came up, they were incredibly helpful and handled everything with ease and care. Even though it rained most of the weekend, the property felt peaceful, cozy, and beautifully designed — the perfect place to unwind. The champagne breakfast each morning was such a highlight: elegant, delicious, and thoughtfully presented. It was their opening week, yet everything ran seamlessly. We left feeling completely relaxed and cared for. We can’t wait to return — this is truly a gem in Napa Valley.

In 2005 my wife and I got married there and it was amazing. It’s the perfect place to have a destination wedding. We stayed at one of the cottages for are honey moon. We also returned multiple times to vacation….We now own the original cast iron sign at the entrance from the driveway 😁👍🏻 Still can’t believe we own it !!! Truly amazing. When I look at it in my house it teleports me back in time to May 2005♥️

Absolutely loved our one night stay, we wanted 2 but they were closing the next day for remodeling. The room was super clean, bed very comfortable, the view was gorgeous, the grounds were as well. We spent a bit of time by the pool and hot tub, and walked over for supper to the Brasswood Cellars and Kitchen and loved that experience as well. Woke up to a delicious breakfast. We did not want to leave. I will recommend this beautiful hotel to anyone who is going to Napa Valley and am anxious to return. I also want to mention the kind woman who checked us in, with a big smile even if the hotel was closing the next day for repairs. 🙌🏻

Ok. This may be long but worth it. First of all, I stayed here many years ago and loved it. Not so much now. They used to have an evening reception with food and wine. Not now. Grounds and view are nice but it ends there. I stayed in room 20 overlooking the vineyard. Cost was over $500 a night. The room was dirty. Dead and live drain flies in the room. Someone's long black hair on the walls in the shower in several places. Bathroom is VERY dated including 1980s glass block, stained grout, stained sinks, and cob webs all over the outside window. Cob webs on the outside patio railing and very old cobwebs on the railing leading up to the room outside. There was a silica gel pack on the floor from a previous guest. They dont clean the room during your stay unless your there over 2 days, yet only 2 bath towels, 2 coffee mugs, 2 coffee pods, etc.(Yes you can go get coffee etc in the dining area, but im on East Coast time and breakfast etc, doesnt start until 7:30. 10:30 my body time.) Asked the next morning for more towels. Went touring and came back 5 hours later and no towels. Called again and they came promptly. Breakfast was exactly the same both days and from the other reviews I read, its the same offerings for years. Had to go back twice for silverware as the knives had dried food on them from not being cleaned well enough. I also noticed im the only review on here from 2024. The last woman that gave them 5 stars posted 6 weeks ago, yet stayed in June of 2023. Odd. I also notice that the GM has only made comments to 5 star reviews. How about read the real reviews and update the place. There is no lack of great places to stay in St Helena. Im an Airline Pilot and spend a third of my life in hotel rooms, both on my own commuting and on the company, so im not picky but at $500+ a night I am.
