Great place to stay in Napa

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Front desk staff at Le Patti Pali are amazing. Incredibly friendly and helpful. They embody what the hospitality industry should be. It is so refreshing to meet people who love what they do. Audrey is the perfect example. She made us feel like we were at the Four Seasons Hawaii. We will definitely stay here again.

Missed Opportunities

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Stayed at Le Petit Pali in St. Helena for 3 nights. Great looking place with lots of charm, recently renovated, nice touches of decoration and concept design. They boast about several things on their website; Diptyque products, Baci chocolates, Antipodes water, pastries and English muffins from Model Bakery. They also charge resort fee of $45/night to support this. The check in process was dismal. We arrived at 2:45pm (check in time is at 3:00). The woman at the front desk seem flustered by something, even though we were the only ones standing there at the time. We were told our room was not going to be ready till 3:00. We were offered a welcome glass of sparkling wine while we waited. We approached the front desk, again being the only ones at the desk at that time. The two women behind the desk were talking to each other, looked at us and kept talking for several minutes before asking if we were waiting for something. Again, the front was maybe had one other person approach the front desk during the interim of us waiting for our room till now. We then asked about our room and was told it was ready. Upon entering the room, there was only one Baci chocolate, no coffee in the mini bar, and no soap or lotion in the bathroom. I called the front desk and explained. A man from the front desk comes up with soap, but never addressed the chocolate. He then asked me how many coffee pods I wanted and suggested five. (Again there are 2 of us in the room). Not a great first impression. Later in the day we came back to the front desk area for the Social Hour and sat outside to have a cocktail and a snack. We ordered and did not get either the cocktails or snacks for close to 30 minutes. There was only one other couple out there. The next morning after housekeeping came. They made the bed and replaced towels, but did not replace the water or chocolates. The day after same thing, but this time they replaced the water. The interactions with the staff were all peculiar. They rarely great you, make eye contact, or provide any sort of welcoming vibe. We event saw, who we presumed was, the manager at the front desk. He even did the same and did not greet us or other guests or make eye contact. Examples are set by leadership towards the rest of the staff. At breakfast we randomly see other things being ordered by a different table and the server then asks if we want to see a menu after we inquire. The next morning we wanted to order something and server says they do not have the menu that day. Lots of inconsistencies. Lots of missed opportunities to spend more and enjoy the property for its fullest potential.

Under the stars in St. Helena

This location is a true GEM for the Napa Valley! The rooms are gorgeous with details that will make your heart throb! The grounds, pool and views are absolutely phenomenal. Most of all, the attention from the staff and their ability to bring drinks by the pool or help you keep your party going through the night by opening our bottles and bringing proper stemware around the fire or on the deck made our visit with other couples so special. Cannot recommend Le Petit Pali enough! 1000 stars!

Charming property will stay again

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Just finished a quick night here. Charming property with eager and helpful staff. Very nice grounds that are well kept. Refreshing pool and hot tub. Great view from our balcony. Excellent water pressure and clean room. Great pastries and breakfast options that are part of the room rate with a la carte options for purchase. Nice outdoor relaxing seating areas to enjoy a drink and lounge. Prompt drink service to the pool was a plus. Comfortable bed and great a/c. The only things that need improving on are the pool and spa had a lot of dead bugs and junk that needed to be netted out and weren't while we were using the pool. Our balcony had one chair making sitting out there as a couple challenging. No ability to get a latte though the employee was very helpful in getting me something close. Overall small things that I'm sure will be addressed as the employees were very on top of everything we asked. We will be coming to stay again for longer next time. 5/5

A perfect French country luxury experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

The ultimate luxury in a French country setting. We began our stay with a kind upgrade (Thank you Isabelle) to a cottage suite with a large patio overlooking a vinyard and the Napa Hills. We were out there every morning with fresh pressed coffee and tea. It was very warm so the retractable awning and fountain were a perfect touch. The rooms were beautifully appointed with comfort in mind. The pool was perhaps my favorite spot. Serene and pristine with big fluffy towels all set out. Special shout out to Riley, our breakfast attendant who made our meal a joyous start. She made sure we had everything to our taste. Honestly next time round I’m skipping a tasting and spending a bit more of my day in this piece of heaven.
