We loved this place

We really loved this place. Friendly receptionist, nice welcome wine and evening cookies, and a beautifully done room with lots of thoughtful details. Breakfast was delicious with great quality options, and we enjoyed the clean hot tub and warm pool. We’ll definitely be back!

You have to plan a stay at this property

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

This property is beyond my expectations. It is in such a beautiful location and very peaceful. Even walking into the lobby when we first arrived, we were graciously greeted by Christina and Anna who were able to give us the lay of the land of the hotel and even Christina was able to give winery recommendations which was helpful. For our breakfasts, Riley was amazing and gave amazing service during that time. Bella was also great on our last day as I had lost my water bottle and she was able to help me find it and was so great about it. The room service attendents are ninjas. You never see them and before you know it your room is clean and put together. Crazy. Blair, the manager, was hospitable, kind and super welcoming. Downtown St Helena is very cool, walkable and lovely. And the pool and jacuzzi on the property are AMAZING!!! Could have definitely spent a whole afternoon and evening there. I couldn't recommend this property more. Would 100% come back.

A Masterclass in Thoughtful Design: Our Escape to Petite Pali

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We recently escaped the city for a much-needed "parents-only" retreat, and Petite Pali Saint Helena was the absolute perfect choice. Swapping the chaos of the kids and the dog in San Francisco for the serene beauty of wine country was exactly what we needed, and this hotel made the transition feel seamless and luxurious. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was top-tier. We were greeted with a champagne welcome that set the tone for the stay, and the incredible breakfast lived up to every bit of the hype. We also loved the small, personal gestures like the evening cookies—a sweet touch that made us feel right at home. Design That Tells a Story We stayed in one of the cottages, and it felt like our own private sanctuary. While the price point was a little more than we usually spend on a getaway, it was worth every penny. It’s rare to find a property where the aesthetic is so thoughtfully curated through every single touchpoint: The Pool Area: The level of detail is stunning, right down to the poolside cushions that perfectly match the pool tile colors. The Rooms: Every detail feels intentional, from the curated selection of coffee table books (like the Annie Leibovitz and Ralph Lauren volumes) to the bathroom cups that reflect the overall style. The Little Luxuries: Even the "hidden" details, like the decorative covers for the lobby speakers, show that nothing was overlooked. Petite Pali doesn’t just provide a room; they provide an atmosphere. Nestled perfectly between Saint Helena and Calistoga, they have done a magnificent job of creating a cohesive, delightful world of design and hospitality that completely envelopes you. We can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful country French boutique hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

Fantastic experience, would definitely recommend Le Petit Pali! Went for a weekend for our anniversary. Every detail was clearly intentional and well thought out, down to the coffee cups. How many hotels spring for both a T3 hair dryer AND a straightener! Everywhere there were beautiful country French touches - I can tell the design team was having fun with fabrics! The service was impeccable, very friendly and attentive. The location isn't quite walkable to downtown St. Helena (not quickly, anyway), but it's a very short drive. I felt I got tremendous value for the cost, I've paid twice as much for other hotels in the area and only enjoyed them half as much. This place made me feel like a special guest. This will be my new go-to place to stay for my Napa weekends!
