Sandy Lane Hotel

Went for afternoon tea. We got a large selection of sandwiches (salmon, egg salad, etc), a set of one-bite pieces, and a dessert selection. Everything tasted fantastic. They didn't even scoff and the people in our group who had coffee instead of tea. All in all it was a relaxed and very enjoyable afternoon and walk at the beach. No need for dinner after.

Wonderful hotel. Lives up to have a photo. I totally beautiful property with Tree five star service. I stayed with children it’s a very welcoming family environment, great for kids. Our room was beautiful food excellent and I had no complaints during our day. Everybody was exceptional.

We went for afternoon tea and the staff were so nice and friendly plus made it special for our wedding anniversary and my wife’s birthday..

We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon here at Sandy Lane for their afternoon tea. The hotel is unbelievable! It really is a bit of luxury … if only we could stay here too! The hotel ambience is very exclusive and the view from the hotel is amazing. The staff were very friendly and attentive and couldn’t have done enough to help. We went for the classic afternoon tea and it was delicious - I couldn’t finish it all, we got a lot of different savouries and cakes, scones etc. We also had our choice of teas and I may have had a cocktail as we waited to be seated! I would 100% this for a nice holiday treat or special occasion! Accessibility: everywhere was accessible as you would expect at the hotel

We recently stayed at Sandy Lane in Barbados and it really does live up to its reputation as one of the Caribbean’s most iconic resorts. From arrival the service was exceptional. Staff were warm, attentive and seemed to remember the small details that make a stay feel special. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, with a classic luxury feel rather than ultra-modern, and the housekeeping was flawless throughout. The beach is probably one of the best on the island. Soft white sand, calm turquoise water and plenty of space between loungers so it never felt crowded. Beach service was excellent too, with drinks and cold towels appearing at just the right time. Dining was consistently good, especially breakfast which had a huge choice and a relaxed atmosphere overlooking the sea. We also enjoyed the spa facilities and the general sense of calm around the property, even when the hotel was busy. It’s not a trendy, flashy resort and that’s exactly the charm. Sandy Lane feels timeless, elegant and very well run. If you’re looking for a classic Caribbean luxury escape with great service, beautiful surroundings and a proper sense of occasion, it’s hard to beat.
