Glad transport from train was available but driver not particularly friendly. Reception friendly and inviting. Overall hotel had a somewhat well worn feel to it. Friends had decent size room, ours was noticeably smaller which didn't make sense. Most disappointing aspect of hotel was dining area. Very uninviting. Dark and gloomy at night and just as gloomy for breakfast which was pretty basic. Extremely unimpressive head waiter. Unfriendly and unhelpful. Food and coffee "blah." Not our best hotel experience. Additionally, Saturday night and almost everything in town was closed and dead.

We stayed in this hotel for two nights as part of a tour of Switzerland. We arrived in St Moritz on the Glacier Express. A really nice hotel. Initially we nearly missed our pickup outside the train station as someone else poached our ride but I chased the driver and we got the taxi! The hotel staff at check in were very welcoming. We were booked into a Junior suite which was lovely and spacious and immaculate. There was a good storage/dressing area. There was also a safe and lots of hanging space with hangers. Unusually and wonderful for an hotel there were also hooks to hang coats- hooray. The bathroom was opposite the dressing/storage area and was large with a lovely separate walk in shower. Good quality toiletries were provided along with towels, bathrobe and slippers. The bedroom area was big with a lovely split double bed (big) and big soft pillows. There was also a sitting area with sofa and arm chair and coffee table. There was a minibar that was stocked with water, coke, the Swiss drink Rivella and beer. These drinks were complimentary and replaced daily free if charge. There was also a coffee machine with pods provided. All in all a very comfy room. The location of the hotel was right in the centre of town about ten minutes walk from the station. The only thing we weren’t so pleased about was the shouting in the square late at night. You had to shut the windows and due to no air con this made the room warm. I wouldn’t want to be here if it was hot outside as the windows need to be open. The room was serviced mid morning and there was a turn down with chocolates at night- very welcome! We were impressed with the quality of the room. Would love some USB charging points though! We ate in the hotel restaurant the first night we were there and the food was amazing. We had a main course each of trout and Sea Bass and then a desert. My husband’s peach mouse was divine and looked exactly like a peach! We had a generous helping of petit fours and were offered more! The waiters were excellent and took their roles seriously. In the morning breakfast was good. It was the usual continental selection and cooked food. There was also cold meats and cereal. The cakes were delicious. The only thing we’d have liked was self service coffee and no extra charges for things like omelettes. In most hotels these options are part of the breakfast even though you might need to order them. All in all a very pleasant hotel. We would stay in this hotel again if it was somewhere other than St Moritz. There’s not much to do here other than stroll around the lake and look at expensive shops. I know there is a cable car ride. It’s not got that much going on but I guess if you like winter sports then it’s ideal. We liked St Moritz but didn’t love it as we did Interlaken or Zermatt for example.

First I want to preface. this was a chosen hotel by a tour company and be aware there are a ton of tour companies that go through here! I’ll start with breakfast because it was an absolute disaster and the staff were overwhelmed and not very nice except for one young man. And he actually spoke English, so that was pleasant. As a solo traveler, I once again got a very small room . But it was nice because St Moritz is the Beverly Hills of Switzerland. I really don’t think you can have a bad hotel in the city. All of the amenities were available, including shampoo, conditioner, lotion, bath gel. The location is fantastic Close to walking distance to all the stores. Unfortunately, we were there during low season so the town was a ghost town. But it has nothing but high-level stores and really nothing to see here when visiting.

The hotel is well located but has no air conditioning. Gets a little warm in the summer so it’s a little uncomfortable. Breakfast was good. Rooms had no usb or c ports to charge your phone. Breakfast was good. The hotel is located in the central area not by the lake,so it’s a journey to the lake. Our room had no view.

Very welcoming team and located right in the heart of St Moritz. Lovely dinner for my wife’s birthday and presented with a surprise dessert too (and a birthday card and chocolates in the room too) Thanks to Davide and all the staff for a delightful stay.
