This was the best hotel of our entire trip. The location was perfect, quiet and peaceful yet only a five-minute drive to the village. It was everything I could have hoped for during our stay in Provence, with its charming traditional façade and beautifully renovated interiors. We usually stay at Four Seasons properties, but since there was not one in the area we took a chance on this hotel—and we enjoyed every moment. The service and quality at Domaine de Valmouriane are truly on par with the Four Seasons, which made our stay feel even more special. We stayed in a room with a terrace, which was absolutely perfect. Each morning we enjoyed breakfast outside, listening to the birds, soaking in the sunshine, and admiring the landscaped gardens. I loved the French doors leading to the terrace and the bathtub placed beside another set of French doors that opened to fresh air and views. The staff made our stay unforgettable. I had been in contact with them for months before our trip, and they were always so knowledgeable about the South of France, incredibly accommodating, and genuinely enthusiastic to help. Not once did we hear “no”—only warm, thoughtful solutions and advice. The pool area was beautiful, our room was kept spotless throughout our stay, and one evening we dined at their restaurant where the food was absolutely delicious. Everything about Domaine de Valmouriane exceeded expectations, and I cannot wait to return!

What a disappointing stay. On paper it should great but it just wasn’t. For sure the grounds are very nice, the pool a good facility and the rooms ok. Most staff are really helpful BUT. Definitely not 5 star. Food is adequate but breakfast barely so. The food is left out a long time and not replenished. The only hot option is scrambled egg and on 2 of our 4 days they had run out and it wasn’t available. On one of the days there was even no croissants. When I asked I was told they’d all gone. Like I say not acceptable. The fitness room is not that. It has 2 machines, one didn’t work properly. No weights. On the first day we had to ask for the room to be cleaned again, bedding not changed and towels the same. It did get better after that but too late to my mind. Couldn’t really get peace and quiet by the pool at any reasonable time. These might seem small things but for 3900 euros for 4 nights I expected more. Not worth the money, much better hotels nearby. This was our 7th hotel in France this month as we are on a tour. By far the most disappointing. A shame for the staff who tried do their best, this is management that does not know what 5 star service is. Just having the premises doesn’t cut it.

We had a truly wonderful experience at Domaine de Valmouriane — the setting is stunning, with perfectly manicured French gardens and a serene, elegant atmosphere. It felt like something out of a dream. We were slightly concerned that the sophisticated surroundings might not be ideal for a family with a young child, but we couldn’t have been more wrong. The staff were warm, welcoming, and made us feel completely at ease. Our son loved it ! They made him feel special with a mocktail and were happy to adapt to his menu choices . The dining was five-star from start to finish. We loved the amuse-bouche, and every course that followed was outstanding. Highlights included the tricolour pasta in a creamy pesto and Parmesan sauce (I’m still dreaming about it!) and the lamb tournedos — absolutely divine. The frozen nougat dessert was the perfect ending to an exceptional meal. We left already hoping to return — this place is something special.

My family and I stayed at Domaine de Valmouraine last week and absolutely loved it. It’s so intimate, peaceful, and beautiful, with spacious, elegant and luxurious rooms and products. Our room was beautiful, spotless and elegant with very high end finishes and linens. The grounds are stunning, and pristine. It truly was a luxury experience. Staff were so warm and welcoming, and always available to assist. We had dinner at the chateau and it was delicious, and wait staff all wonderful. It was a truly wonderful stay and I have no complaints! We can’t wait to come back.

This wonderful property is nested on a quiet road just a few minutes drive from both St. Remy and Les Baux , two of the most beautiful villages in France. The grounds are gorgeous with extensive gardens and a big climatized pool. The building is brand new and the rooms are absolutely incredible with great amenities. Restaurant on the premises. Charlene at the reception desk was very helpful making us feel at home and providing us tips for activities in the area. We stayed only 2 nights but wished we had stayed longer just enjoying the property and its surroundings. For sure we will be back. Highly recommended.
