This picturesque corner of the South of France snakes along the Mediterranean Sea, embedding in the memory of anyone who has visited it. Along this feted coastline you’ll discover Château de la Messardière, a historic estate that dates back to the 19th century. Much loved by locals throughout the years, the Chateau’s past and present is woven into the fabric of Saint Tropez. Airelles Saint Tropez Chateau de la Messardière offers magnificent panoramic views over the Bay of Saint-Tropez, vineyards of Ramatuelle and beaches of Pampelonne. This authentic 19th century castle, entirely renovated, sits on 25 acres of impeccably maintained grounds, is an exceptional vacation choice. The refined Valmont Spa, is combined with a fitness center with pool, Jacuzzi, steam baths, and high-tech exercise and cardio training machines. All 64 suites and 44 rooms have balconies or private gardens. The hotel's gourmet restaurant "L'Acacia" specializes in refined and generous Southern-style cuisine.

I’m so glad we picked this hotel for our getaway to St. Tropez. The amenities were top notch, the staff was helpful, and the shuttle service to both the in-house beach club and the town centre was excellent. I believe they also offer a shuttle from the station if needed, though we drove there. The views and overall atmosphere were spectacular. It’s a converted mansion, and you can feel that charm in everything, from the spacious grounds to the beautiful landscaping. We really enjoyed the multiple food options for both breakfast and lunch. The ingredients were fresh, and it was clear that care went into how everything was presented. If you stay at the hotel, make sure to visit their beach club in the evening. The live band is absolutely incredible. That said, the beach itself isn’t great. It’s definitely not among the top ten I’ve been to.

I never write reviews but this is one of the worst experiences and A VERY EXPENSIVE over priced hotel, with horrible service. The hotel is infested with bees including the buffet and get attacked while ur eating There are not enough sun beds in pool and waiter asked us to leave The dinner spots are fully booked and the hotel is far from everything abd there are noisy families everywhere I mentioned im PREGNANT and they served me runny eggs and tried to justify it which is ridiculous THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH UR MONEY

We have stayed at 5-star hotels around the world and in St Tropez and this is easily top 5, maybe top 1-2. Incredible hotel from start to finish. Best service I have ever received at a hotel, amazing attitude from the staff to always solve every problem. A breakfast and lunch buffet are included, but these are not like any buffet you have ever been to - extremely high quality food, better than a nice a la carte restaurant. There are a lot of kids and families but there is an adults only pool with the best view. The gym is incredible and fully stocked with powerade and snacks. The hotel gives you all kinds of fun souvenirs to take with you, including expensive brand shirts, straw hats, caps, pajamas, a nice leather beach bag, etc. Amazing. I have no idea how anyone could complain about this hotel. I strongly suspect the negative reviews are competitors mad about how badly they're being beaten. Honestly I thought St Tropez itself as a town was very underwhelming and don't get what all the fuss is about. But this hotel is so amazing that I would go back again just to stay here.

This is the second Airelles we've stayed at. The first one was La Bastide de Gordes. This experience was quite different, but just as exquisite. As you make your grand entrance through the front gate, you quickly understand that you're in for an experience of a lifetime. ROOM. Please see for yourself. I've attached a few photos. Not only was the room fantastic, the view from the room and the terrace was even better. One of my favorite Airelles perks is the $500 Dyson hair dryer in the bathroom. After you've tried it once, you question how you could have used anything else on your hair. FOOD. For brunch each day, we did the buffet with at least 100 food items. What's not to love. The dining area was not only beautiful, but serene. As for dinner, all our reservations were made by the concierge before we arrived. We had one hiccup on the first night, though. When we got into the hotel's shuttle to go to dinner, our driver informed us that the restaurant was closed. We went inside to have the concierge confirm, and indeed, it was closed. The concierge quickly pivoted and got us immediate seating at the fully booked sushi restaurant onsite. It was a very lovely meal. GROUNDS. One of the big differences between the St. Tropez and Gordes hotels is the amount of property they sit on. Whereby the Gordes hotel is a palace built into the side of a mountain in the middle of town, the St. Tropez property is expansive with lots of places to explore - including the outdoor fitness center, the Padel court, the kids camp area (with a huge treehouse), the animal farm, and all the gardens. It's like a high-end adult playground. SERVICE. Exceptional throughout our visit. As expected. The two callouts are the maid service and shuttle service. Our room was always cleaned up/turned down - yet we never saw a maid or their gear in the hallways. It was like magic. And then the drivers who shuttled us to/from town in a Rolls Royce every day were friendly and informative. They wanted to make sure we made the most of our visit. Airelles truly knows how to make you feel like a queen (and king) and make the most of your vacation time. The experience is worth every penny.

I stayed in here the first week of July. I really wanted to love it and was so looking forward to it but it wasn't a great sign when a day before arrival they called me and told me the Suite I had booked in January (and had confirmed by email. twice!) was no longer available and I was getting downgraded to to a room with a queen sized bed. No Bueno when you are 6 foot 5 ! In the end they stuffed a king sized bed in a room where we couldn't even fully open the wardrobe. The pool can be hell on earth with kids and large families hanging out and screaming. So don't expect to snooze/chill there in the late afternoon after "some" wine at one of the beach clubs. Also don't expect to get a sunbed at the other garden pool as they get "reserved" by guests at 9am...and i'm not getting up at 9am on holiday after a night partying in st tropez! All in all I would say the experience was average. Although it probably is worth coming for a quick drink and seeing the place. It is a beautiful setting.
