Hotel de Paris Saint-Tropez

I almost never take the time to write reviews but this was truly a perfect five stars! I'ven been to Saint-Tropez more than 10 times but staying at Hotel de Paris Saint-Tropez was my best experience so far. The location of the hotel is excellent, putting you just a few minutes walk to everything in the village and with easy access to the main road to the beach. The head concierge at the hotel is simply the best I've ever had and nothing short of a magician, granting VIP access on short notice to the most exclusive venues. The rooftop with the pool and restaurant acts as a both casual and classy oasis that works just as well for chill days in swimwear as for pre-dinner cocktails in evening wear. Service throughout the whole hotel and its amenities was simply perfect during my whole stay, and I was there for several weeks. Very much looking forward to returning next summer!

Greatest hotel in St tropez This hotel should be ranked # 1. The accommodation, the location are simply 10/10. I do leave the best for Last. Samuel and his team are the best concierge in the world. Name any hotel they take the number spot without any questions. They are the reason that the hotel is # 1

Dear Team at Hotel de Paris, We just finished a 9-day stay with you, and we wanted to forward you some comments as we believe all feedback from customers is always useful….at our own company we very much appreciate receiving customer feedback. We are sending this to the Concierge Desk in hopes that you may forward this to the appropriate persons in your organization. Please note that underlining all comments that follow, is the fact that we like Hotel de Paris very much and it is why we have stayed with you several times… we have always returned and will continue to return!! 1. The location is for us and without a doubt the best in St. Tropez. However, what compliments the location is the shuttle service which in our opinion is one of the best we have experienced in any hotel in the world. It is efficient, quick, the vehicles are clean and in excellent shape, and the drivers are extremely professional and polite. 2. The menu in the roof-top restaurant needs a few more choices, we ate there several times during our stay and found a bit too few alternatives. 3. The pool water is too cold, even in very hot weather it is difficult to enjoy the water when it is so cold. 4. The lady playing the violin on one of the evenings at the rooftop is spectacular, it creates a very nice and relaxing environment. We have seen her for several years performing on the street in the port area, we were glad to see her now also performing for your guests….she has great presence and talent, and her music selection is outstanding. 5. We also always enjoy the piano player, he is very good and it adds warmth to the hotel. 6. The team at the rooftop is very good…the service is excellent and the team is very well trained and motivated; they make it enjoyable and easy to spend the whole day at the pool. 7. Overall, the service from all areas of the hotel (front desk, restaurants, housekeeping, lobby/front door, room service, etc.) is outstanding, we feel it is the most differentiating factor of the Hotel de Paris. It should be noted that the rooms are relatively small, the furnishings are somewhat outdated, no bathtubs, the rates are not inexpensive, etc. But all those things are compensated by the excellent service which for sure must be part of the Human Resources training and culture. 8. And within the overall excellent service from all areas, the Concierge Desk is the star performer. They are always ready to solve all problems and accommodate all requests….even before we arrive and certainly while we are at the hotel. We travel a lot all over the world, our two top Concierge Desks in the world are Hotel de Paris and the Ritz in Paris. 9. Lastly, we feel more attention must be paid to La Serena…  It is a perfect place for a family with children, but it is “the best kept secret in St. Tropez”.  We think you need to give it more visibility, even to families not staying at Hotel de Paris, and promote it as a place where families and couples can find a bit of quiet time and relaxation. We love loud places (Bagatelle, Gigi, etc.) but some “slower days” are nice, and St. Tropez does not have many of these places. While all beach clubs were full, La Serena was half empty, it needs to be promoted more because it is a great option for families.  The service is not to the standards of Hotel de Paris, especially the waiters on the beach….they are polite but not attentive enough and should be walking around more, be quicker, etc. Better/quicker service will for sure increase revenue.  The food at the restaurant is very good!!  The shop has good options and adequate stock, and the lady attending it is excellent….but prices are too high given the products and the infrastructure. For 6 summers, we have vacationed in St Tropez. The Hotel de Paris has the perfect location close to the city center and a short complimentary drive to the beach clubs. The modern hotel has a beautiful roof top deck with nightly live music, so elegant but not a party scene therefore a respite from what can be overstimulated restaurants and clubs. But the star of the hotel is the Concierge staff under the leadership of Samuel. Absolutely love Sam … who goes above and beyond to ensure we have the best reservations at the beach clubs with front row sunbeds, the best tables at dinner restaurants and organizes unique experiences such as visiting a small family owned vineyard in the countryside. Our helicopter transfers are like clockwork thanks to Sam’s diligence. This is just a dream trip made even dreamier knowing that Sam and his staff have our best interests at heart. Can’t wait for next year!

Had an amazing experience with Samuel. He was sweet and communicative, and made our plans so seamless. His recommendations were incredible, getting to enjoy some of the best places I've ever been to across the world. Thankful to have had him for our trip.
