We had the most fantastic experience at the Fairmont in Rabat. The hotel is stunning and the staff were truly outstanding! Everyone was so kind and helpful, the concierge staff were particularly wonderful including Mohammad who went well above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Can’t wait to go back!

This review is on Fairmont (Hotel) La Marina Rabat-Sale (and not Fairmont Residences La Marina Rabat-Sale which is marketed and sold separately although the buildings are joined) Hotel location in Eagle Hills The location feels a little distant from Rabat. It is on the Sale side of the Bou Regreg river. It is surrounded by undeveloped ground and unfinished and/or unoccupied retail & residential space. Though it is just a short walk to the little blue boats which for a small fee take you across the river to Rabat city. Deluxe Room with 2 Queen Beds with Gold Lounge access The room is large but feels underwhelming. Some spaces feel cluttered with too much furniture while other spaces feel underutilised. The room provides lots of wardrobe space. Balcony is disappointingly and disproportionally small. Not even 2 full chairs provided, probably as space is limited. Fairmont Gold The Gold Lounge is on the small side; the dining and lounge areas are very well appointed and the outside terrace is lovely while offering great views of Rabat city, the river estuary and the Atlantic ocean. The team are welcoming, exceptionally friendly and attentive. Though the service level was not wholly consistent. The Gold Lounge food and beverage offerings are not as extensive as I have experienced in south east Asia and Middle East. Airport transfer If needed, then the hotel concierge can pre-book a taxi for airport transfer. This is not the hotel limousine service. The cost is just a bit more than getting a taxi at the airport but provides peace of mind. In April 2026, we paid MAD 200 each way, in cash to the driver. Fairmont Hotel Team. The entire team in every part of the hotel were just great from check in to check out. Special thanks to the concierge team, guest relations / front desk team, Gold Lounge team and. of course, Tiffany (the hotel dog).

Stayed for 3 nights in a Deluxe Gold with balcony room. The Gold lounge access was great - staff (Adam and Ismail) superb and brought us drinks at all times of the day. Small but varied breakfast (you could eat in the main restaurant instead), small snacks in the afternoon and then canapés and alcoholic drinks 6-9pm. The terrace for the lounge was great in the evening to watch the world go by. Staff all very friendly - Sophie on reception, Omar on the door, the person who doubled up as lifeguard around the pool, Rofayda who arranged a surprise for my daughter’s birthday…amongst others. Room was nice, large and modern and quiet with a view (distant) of Sale beach. Gym was sufficient for a workout but both leg machines were out of order for the duration of our stay. Pool lovely but would be an issue to get a sunbed if busier - we struggled due to there only being 16 loungers in total and many families at the hotel and the hotel didn’t seem that full. Location good, easy to get a boat over to Rabat to explore (20 MAD) for the 4 of us and took 5 mins. Large beach next to the hotel which was great to walk up and down. Many restaurants at the marina (10 min) walk but unfortunately many closed during our trip due to Eid. Ate at Dahlia in the hotel - lovely food, a little pricey but the main annoyance - being charged €8 for water to accompany the meal. The same water that is free at breakfast. Other minor annoyances during our stay - we completed our room preferences and checked in online (ahead of arriving) having booked directly with Accor. None of the preferences had been recorded for our arrival. We were 2 adults and 2 children on the booking but our room was set up for 3 people and even when that was corrected each day despite hanging up our towels to be reused, all 4 towels would be removed and replaced with only 3…why?! Breakfast in the main restaurant was also a little haphazard-there were menus on the table suggesting you’d order food and drinks from your host but that wasn’t the case and you had to order at the various points - not a problem in itself but trying to get anything that wasn’t written in the menu was difficult as the default whatever you ordered seemed to be a cheese omelette! None of the annoyances detracted from the overall stay but given the price point these things could be sorted very easily especially given how eager the staff are to please. Overall enjoyed our stay and the location. If you’re travelling to the hotel by train, get your ticket to Sale rather than Rabat - 20 min walk from Sale station, 20 min taxi ride from Rabat.

We had an unbelievable stay at the hotel and wished we could have stayed longer. This hotel is only about 2 years old and the design is incredible with rooftop fitness center, pool, restaurant and bar. The views to the ocean and beach are incredible. The massages at the spa are some of the best we have had and the entire experience was spectacular. Thank you Ikram and Khadija for booking. The food was also amazing having ate there twice in addition to the expansive and mouthwatering breakfast buffet. The most amazing part was the service from all employees that helped us but the concierge Jaffar was the most impressive and understanding of everything we needed. His assistant Mohamed also made sure we had a great stay. This luxury hotel is a reason to visit Rabat. We will definitely come back!

Amazing staff. Concierge is first class. He set up dinner reservations and transport. Treats us like family 3 years running. Upstairs restaurant AbdulRahim and Bashir make you feel like family. After just one day they all knew what we liked and had it ready for us as soon as we arrive. Friendly and accommodating!
