Nice Hotel, Great Service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

I enjoyed my stay at the Kimpton Monaco. The hotel staff was excellent. The room was large with adequate plugs. The lobby had a small area that had coffee and sold Coca-Cola products and small snacks. I had a corner room which looked out over the city. The location was approximately four blocks from the Temple Square and right across from the ballet theater. There were multiple restaurants in the area.

Horrible sleep

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Very dissatisfied! The bed and pillows are so hard and the walls are paper thin! Also there’s a leak in our bathroom ceiling that soaked our towels. So gross. We’re very disappointed, since we expected more from kimpton.

Relaxing stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Everything about the Kimpton was first class, room was lovely and had a solid nights sleep. Breakfast was really nice, can recommend the eggs Benedict probably the best I’ve ever had. On our deal we had two breakfasts included with the stay for a party of 3 mentioned to our waitress and she got us another complimentary breakfast. Can’t recommend the place enough.

stylish art deco hotel in the center of the city with fantastic food

Great downtown location in a stylish art deco hotel. The bar was friendly and its food fantastic. I would never have believed I would love a kohlrabi Caesar salad.

Nothing to distinguish this hotel from older, small city hotels

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

Apart from the first floor, the building seems old. Rooms are small, the fitness center is very, very small, as is the community lobby area. Poor value for the money. We won't be staying here again.
