Little America Hotel

One of the nicer hotels during our 9-day tour. Clean. Nice rooms. Buffet dinner was delicious. Staff was somewhat friendly. Cannot take drinks back to your room no idea why. Lobby very nice. Super close to the airport.

The hotel is beautiful, the room is gorgeous and spotless. The problem is it is incredibly loud here if your room is on the street side. we were only here one night; a Saturday night. The street noise is incredibly loud as the windows are original to the building and not insulated for sound. Racing engines all night and when the bars close at 1 AM it really starts. From 1 AM to 3 AM it was yelling, drunks walking down the street singing, and revving of engines. They sure is a lot of party and going on in this town that I thought was “dry”! LOL I absolutely love the hotel, but didn’t sleep hardly at all. If I ever stayed here again, I’d sure ask for a room on the interior away from the street. they need to spend the money and put new windows in these rooms for the noise. Came with a group and the hotel mismarked one of our bags as well as to at least one other person in the group, but the porter was friendly and excellent at remedying the situation quickly.

Great Hotel in SLC. Beautifully maintained and run. Booked a double queen garden room. Expected it to be in a garden but I think the rooms are old motel rooms. However they are immaculate spacious and luxurious. Ate in the coffee shop which is a very upscale diner. Another option is a buffet which is something I yearly don’t like. The sister hotel is over the road for more dining options. Outside pool large and warm. Would highly recommend.

The Little America Hotel in Salt Lake City is an absolutely wonderful place to stay. The lobby is gorgeous. A big beautiful staircase, lounge areas with chairs and fireplaces, beautiful wood floors, beautiful marble. We enjoyed a big beautiful room with a big comfy bed, and tons of space. There were outlets everywhere. The room also had night lights which were pretty cool. In the bathroom, we enjoyed amazing shower water pressure and the soft, plush towels. This beautiful property also has two gift shops for buying goods, and two restaurants for dining. Oh, and a coffee shop. Seriously, it’s almost like they don’t want you to leave. Our room had a steamer and iron, comfy bath robes, a little coffee station, a beautiful view, and a cleverly concealed safe and fridge. In the morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast at one of their restaurants. Big, fluffy pancakes, eggs cooked to order, crispy seasoned potatoes and tasty breakfast meats. Unfortunately, when we checked out, I left a bag of clothes behind. Thankfully, the staff at Little America Hotel held onto my clothes and shipped them back to me. I was so thankful. All the staff at Little America were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely look to stay there on our next visit.
