Hotel Goldgasse

This is an absolutely perfect hotel. The location is ideal and the rooms are spacious and modern, with some of the features of the historical building beautifully preserved. The water pressure is excellent, the breakfast is delicious, I could go on and on, with only good things to say about this hotel. Finally, thank you Ulrike for making us feel so at home!

Ideal location in the middle of old town. Quaint boutique hotel with Hilton amenities, restaurant on site with many more nearby. Stores, shopping, castle, etc. Rooms are well appointed & comfortable & the staff wonderful. Can’t go wrong.

Ulrike, the host is amazing! This boutique is in the old town of Salzburg and highly walkable for the museums, concerts, shopping and restaurants. The mini bar is included and has the delightful Austrian ‘burrito style’ duvet bedding. You feel like a local when staying here. It is fresh and incredibly maintained.

I rarely write reviews but felt that our visit to Hotel Goldgasse deserved one. We recently had the privilege of staying at this hotel. Everything about our stay was outstanding. The location of the hotel is in the old town city centre which is perfect and provides easy access to historic sites and activities in Salzburg including the Sound of Music Tour. The rooms were nice and very clean. The restaurant provided both delicious food and excellent service. The staff was friendly, courteous and accommodating. Selena was very helpful with directions, information and reservations. The best part of our visit was meeting Ulrike. She is a treasure! She was warm, friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable and stress free. I can’t recommend the Hotel Goldgasse and its staff highly enough. Would definitely stay here when returning to Salzberg.
