The service here is top notch. All the people are warm and friendly. Everyone was so accommodating. The hotel itself has a killer location directly by the Love Lock Bridge and you can walk directly across into the old town where the high end and couture shops and cafes are. The Mirabell Gardens are about a 5 minute walk. Breakfast is absolutely delicious. We were very happy with our stay here and would absolutely stay again!

Such a beautiful hotel with wonderful people and great restaurants. This was our fourth stay at the Salzburg Sacher and each time seems even better than the time before. The building and rooms are beautiful. The location is perfect. The service is impeccable. The restaurants are the best in Salzburg. At breakfast, it is so nice to be greeted by Ursula with her beautiful smile and sincere desire to accommodate every request. For dinner, the Zirblzimmer has the best and most creative dishes in Salzburg, and is the best restaurant in any of the Sacher Hotels. Zach and Rio both complemented dinner with real showmanship in presenting the dishes. The Sacher Grill is also excellent, but more low key. Such a wonderful hotel.

We had the absolute best experience at the Hotel Sacher in Salzburg. After driving for nine hours from Switzerland, with the last couple of hours in the rain and the dark, we were greeted by Sylvester at 10:30 p.m. Sylvester was a shining beacon of everything this hotel is. He quickly and happily grabbed all of our bags, two huge suitcases, three backpacks and a duffle bag and had them in our room before we even got there. Our room was exactly what we needed after a long travel day, plush bed, an extra comfy roll away for our daughter, soft pillows, delicious sweets and a handwritten note greeted us. We had a great view of the river, a fireplace, a super clean bathroom, a strong and hot shower - everything impeccable. Truly accommodating and kind staff. Sylvester made such a warm and wonderful impression on us. We loved seeing him as we headed out to dinner and when we came back home. He said we were his "favorite guests" but I suspect everyone is. That is the Hotel Sacher, it embodies the best of what Austria is.

A lovely hotel and definitely the best overall in Salzburg. Great service and very good food too. Rooms are comfortable though beware many are very small. We opted for a larger room with no view rather than a small room riverside. It’s a matter of preference. Location is perfect: a 5 - 10 minutes walk across the bridge in front of the hotel to the old town; beside Mirabelle palace gardens.

Yes, it is expensive, but you get real value. The staff are all very friendly and very efficient. All the restaurants serve very good traditional food, and i tried them all. The schnitzel was the best I have eaten, and was the best to be had in Salzburg.
