Not up to Hilton standards.
This is not up to Hilton’s standards. The staff is aloof. We had texted that we wanted two extra pillows when we arrived and they were not in the room. When i called they said I could come down and get them. They say that if you request a towel refresh they will bring them up as often as daily. When I called they said I could just come and get them? Seriously? You still pay for parking. Wow. The restaurant has been improved but it is definitely purely not cheap. I would still not recommend this as a resort place to stay.

An engagement I will never forget
From start to finish this place and the people were amazing! We were there for a BaeCation that ended up being the best proposal ever. The staff was always helpful, food in every location was amazing. It was like we were in a whole other place

Hotel is now a Hilton Vacation time share.
When I made this reservation, nowhere did it say that this is now a Hilton Vacations time share. I’ve been to this hotel in the past to visit with friends who were staying there and it was very elegant. Right after we checked in, the concierge came up to us while we were waiting for the elevator. She explained that this hotel is now a Hilton Vacations time share and tried to get us to commit to a 2 hour time share presentation. We declined and she was surprised we declined because if we attended, we would get a $200 hotel credit. We were expecting an elegant hotel experience and I was very disappointed with this revelation. We were curious about house keeping and asked if there was only one cleaning daily or did they have turn down service. We were then informed that there was no house keeping service at all for a six night stay. We were told that if we needed clean towels we could put the used towels outside the door and call to request more. The room was very dated and the furniture was very scuffed up. That was it for us. We went to our room and looked for other hotels. We made a reservation elsewhere and stayed the first night. We checked out early the next morning and stayed at a proper luxury resort. Unless you want to stay in a bare bones hotel, skip this one for sure.

Massive Speed bumps low riders beware
Most important part the bed is pretty good. Been sleeping pretty good. The shower is nice but needs more water pressure. Some of the additional cost to make this a more expensive stay than you first read. The pool could be kept cleaner says the kids.

Anniversary
The Elian is one of the best hotels we have stayed at. Love the junior suites with the balcony. It is very clean and and great view from your rooms

One of the best resorts we've stayed at. The King Suite was very spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the food in Sustenio and the customer service was unparalleled. Great stay from check-in to check-out!
