Hotel Contessa

This lovely hotel is nestled on the San Antonio River Walk, offering a peaceful escape without being too far from the lively area. You’ll find it just a short stroll to the main restaurants. The hotel boasts a fantastic restaurant, Ambler, a charming bar with elevated cocktails, a pool, and a well-thought-out design. The rooms are generously sized and immaculately clean. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. It’s a great choice for anyone seeking a relaxing getaway.

This was our first time in San Antonio. We can for a Spurs game. Starting from the time we showed up to the hotel, everyone was so nice, so helpful, and made us feel like royalty. The valet was great, Jan at the check in/check out was wonderful. But the cream of the crop was our man, Fast Eddie! He remembered us throughout our stay, asked how we were, gave suggestions where to go, and saved us a bundle on Uber rides with some nifty tips. Fast Eddie is one of San Antonios best. When we come back, this is where we will be staying.

Must start by saying it was supposed to be only for one night but due to scheduling delays we had to change our stay to two nights and the staff on the desk was amazing in helping us make that change happen. Everything was great from top to bottom. The check-in was quick and simple. The room was excellent, clean and no issues. Had a nice view on the riverwalk side. The gym is nice, and the pool looked great. Valet is definitely the way to go, they are great. Highly recommend staying here, we will definitely be back soon.

Loved our stay at Hotel Contessa. The holiday décor was so good and honestly made the whole place feel extra special. Huge shoutout to Mike (Michael sorry if I got the name wrong) with valet. Even with all the traffic and nonstop arrivals, he still made time to greet us and somehow remembered us every time we came and went over the next couple of days. Francisco was amazing and knew everything about San Antonio. He gave us great ideas on where to go and what to check out, and didn’t flinch one bit with all of our luggage. Ashley at the front desk was so patient and kind while answering our million questions. Friday night we were greeted with mariachi music, which was such a treat. This hotel just gets it with great people, beautiful decor, great vibes, and an awesome experience overall. Would 100% stay here again.

Beautiful accommodations! We were greeted by Karnell Jackson in valet and he was absolutely delightful as well as helpful. Our stay was very enjoyable. The location was convenient. Staff was friendly and always wanted to help any way that they could.
