Over all stay was ok. Great customer service with valet and concierge. Check in with smoothly. Paid through Priceline, at which the hotel received payment for my stay at check in (taxes , fees, everything). Hotel informed me they were charge my card $150 for incidentals (which is returned to me upon check out). I also use their valet service which was $53 a night for two nights. No problem there that's what I agreed to (which will be deducted from my incidental fee). Once I got to my room my only concern was the toilet had not been cleaned so I asked the front desk if someone could clean it (twice I called, and twice they said they would send someone) no one ever came to clean it. Saturday morning when housekeeping came they only made up the bed and just closed the lid to the toilet (hilarious but true). Upon check out I turned in my key, not even 30 minutes later I received notification that my card was charged an additional $300, plus the 150 incidental was still there, Plus 106 for parking!! I Immediately called the hotel to address my concern with the charges. I was reassured by billing at the hotel that the "hold" will be returned to me, it had something to do with an audit that the computer does the night before check out to make sure that my card is still good (which made absolutely no sense to me), but since I had paid for my room in full at check in that my incidental fee will be returned minus the valet charge in addition to the $300. I checked out on a Sunday. Come Wednesday the charges never fell off, as a matter of fact all the charges went through so that means I was charged 500 plus dollars, on top of my 442!!!! This family weekend stay at this hotel which was only supposed to be a total of 442. Ended up costing me almost $1,000! As you can imagine I called the hotel, spoke to billing again and all he can tell me was they don't know why that happened and will get in touch with their supervisor and have it returned to me within 2 -3 days depending on my bank. At this point trust was completely out the window with this hotel and billing! Long story short, of course, i had to call my bank. If you use this hotel just be aware, if they tell you something will be returned or fall off within a certain amount of days, DON'T BELIEVE THEM!! immediately go to your bank and dispute it.

I would like to share my feedback regarding my recent stay. I was disappointed with the "Riverwalk view" advertised for the room. The description on the website led me to believe I would have a corner window with a clear view of the Riverwalk. However, upon entering the room, I found that I had to stand in the corner of the living area to catch a glimpse of it. Additionally, the room was not well maintained. There was trash on the sofa, rust in the bathtub, and no trash can provided. The bed was uncomfortable, and the only available water bottles were priced at $8 each. I also noticed hair or lint on the sofa and dust on nearly every surface in the room. I generally try not to be overly critical of hotels, as I understand the wear and tear that comes with frequent use. However, given the amount of money spent and the discrepancies in the room description, I felt compelled to voice my concerns. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Unsatisfied Customer

Wonderful hotel, staff and dining experience as we have stayed here several times over the last four years. However, they do not have a properly managed valet service which caused us nightmares getting in and out

Not recommended. Not a 4 star hotel comparables to other hotels on the Riverwalk which have stayed at this past year. Not clean with hairs in tub, shower water did not work and went hot and cold throughout shower. And not recognized by staff friendly with long check in times and this hotel charges $40.00 for early check in (when asked to check in at 3pm instead of 4 pm and told $40.00 charge right away from staff) , and asked for a later check out during my convention for noon check out (when check out is 11 am) and was immediately told no, that too many people check out at that time and could not accomodate. And restaurant staff at 9 pm, kept talking about when they would get off and no interaction with guest and how we were doing and enjoying our stay and the food and drink. No one offered to take my luggage and remove from my car when valeted at hotel. Nor offer to carry and put my bags in my car and there are steps going up to the front door at this hotel. BTW - I live here and enjoy staycations at Riverwalk, along with our corporate convention was here, and this is not a hotel to stay at when looking for 4 or 5 star experience.

Beautiful hotel. When the staff learned it was our anniversary trip they sent a complimentary bottle of champagne and a meat and cheese tray to our room. Big thank you to Fast Eddie for all the recommendations! We will definitely be back.
