Excellent couple get away with excellent service!
Booked a last minute get away and the Hotel Contessa was the perfect fit! On the riverwalk but on the quieter side. Excellent location. Didn't need the car all weekend. Spacious room was clean and amenities were good. The rooftop pool was great - could have been a little cleaner around the pool. No towels available. The Ambler Bar and Restaurant made our weekend. Mariachi band on Friday evenings made it a fun welcome. Nachos at the bar were phenomenal and breakfast at the restaurant with the BEST server, Adan made our weekend just perfect! Can't wait to go back.

Luz was the star!
The hotel is lovely; it is spacious and clean with a prime location. There is a bit of a communication gap between the front desk and housekeeping. Thankfully, one of the housekeepers, Luz Burgos, went over and beyond all expectations and made things right instantly. If Luz were my employee, I would laud her appropriately. If she did what she did for me without calling attention to her efforts, I can only imagine the excellence she provides day after day that goes unnoticed. It is folks like Luz that truly create a great property!

Beautiful, relaxing and in a great location
We had a fantastic couple of nights and only wish we stayed longer! Our twin suite was spacious and quiet. The rooftop gym and pool are a great alternative to the Tower of the Americas (which is a waste of time & money). Enjoyed delicious food & drinks and the hotel is located right at the river walk so close to everything. Very relaxing, would absolutely stay there again

Anniversary Stay — Surprised with Charcuterie/Prosecco
Beautiful hotel and the location was prime! Celebrated our anniversary and was surprised with a charcuterie board and prosecco. Thank you so much, Keisha and Hannah, for the heart warming gesture. Highly recommend and will definitely stay here at our next visit.
