Hotel Emma is a boutique luxury hotel set in the old San Antonio landmark building built in 1894, originally known as home to Pearl’s Brewhouse. Meticulously refurbished to maintain the charm, history, and mystique of the 19th century brewhouse, the now luxurious hotel, a part of the Legend collection of Preferred Hotels & Resorts, is an elegant retreat for all visitors. Quaint guest rooms merge together the industrial grit of the former brewery, the aesthetic of southern Texas warmth, and the elegance of a luxury boutique hotel. Premium amenities, attention to detail and spacious accommodations will ensure a memorable stay.

Love Hotel Emma. The experience and ambiance is like no other. The staff makes you feel so appreciated and important. The food and drinks are delicious. At the Pearl so lots to do in walking distance. It has become an annual event to celebrate my mom's birthday here. We love it that much to make it a yearly tradition.

You will not regret staying at Hotel Emma! You are first greeted by friendly bell staff that unload your luggage and escort you to checkin reception. (Valet Parking is included for TX residents) We arrived two hours before posted checkin time and our room was ready. Reception walked us to the elevators and made us feel very welcome. After settling in to our well appointed room, we walked around the Pearl district and quickly realized a car was unnecessary in this area. Shops, restaurants and the Riverwalk are all accessible on foot. We enjoyed a drink downstairs in the main bar and chatted with our server, James, who made some excellent dining recommendations nearby. Then off to the pool for a relaxing dip and a nap on the exceptionally comfortable lounge chairs. Well placed umbrellas provide ample shade from the sun in triple digit temperatures. We dined at Supper twice and were treated to Michelle’s amazing service on both occasions. Both meals were delicious and well portioned. Coffee in the Library each morning was a welcomed treat where you can meet fellow guests and start your day off right. Access to the Riverwalk was easy and close to the hotel. This is not the over -commercialized area closer to downtown. This area is mostly residential and feels quite safe. Unlimited walking opportunities in either direction await you. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Emma and look forward to our next stay! Treat yourself. You won’t be disappointed!
