Reviews for Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa

Nice place, over priced with the golf course under construction

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 7 hours ago

Looks beautiful and the staff is friendly. Be careful of the 18% gratuity add-on even if it is just for one or two people and you order at the bar. We tipped cash until we found out they were double dipping and not even coming out to our table to serve us. Grounds were well maintained, but the golf course was under construction so it was overpriced for the experience. Food overall was very good and the rooms were nice. Price could have been a couple hundred dollars lower per night for the value.

An Amazing Stay!

The hotel was visually stunning, with luxurious features, elegant design, and peaceful surroundings that made for a relaxing stay. Our room was flawlessly clean, quiet, and beautifully decorated for total comfort. Staff provided outstanding service and were friendly, professional, and attentive from check-in to check-out. We felt genuinely welcomed and will absolutely be returning.

Family weekend getaway

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

We stayed here for a weekend and wish it was longer. Parking was free resort fee was only $45. The room was lovely and the bed cozy. We had a great time at the lazy river and pools. I would have liked to do the activities but we had to much fun at the pools.

Anniversary Staycation

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

Cam and Angel at check-in went above and beyond to make our 17th anniversary special. :) It was our first time back to the hotel since our wedding night in 2008. They were so welcoming and made us feel like VIPs. It is because of them that we will definitely be back in the near future! The adult pools and lazy river is where we spent most of our time. The hotel has beautiful new renovations.

Overpriced!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

Extremely overpriced for market conditions and quality of product delivered. The rooms are basic. Our "view" was the entry drive to the lobby. We paid extra for that? Noticed guests having food delivered. Not a good sign. Food and beverage is very overpriced for the quality and the market.
