Great stay has turned into a yearly tradition

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 19 hours ago

We are turning this into a yearly family tradition. This was our second August going and we can't wait to go back next summer with the opening of the lagoon area. Our son loves the hotel and we are excited to create new memories with him and our baby as they get older.

Family fun!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 20 hours ago

So much fun with three generations! I enjoyed the lazy river, activities, golf, and s'mores with my children 25-30 years ago. Now, I'm making the same memories with my grandchildren!!! The Springhouse buffets are awesome - breakfast and dinner!

Gave away our reserved rooms

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

We booked a reservation at this resort 2 months in advance. Online checked in to the resort at around 6pm on the day of arrival on our drive to the resort. At 8pm, we are informed from Angelica that they given away our room bc they overbooked the resort. To try and make it ok, they also informed us that this was happening to others this same weekend. As a consolation, they did transfer us to a hotel down the road (mile away but “walking distance”) that had less amenities, lower rating, and cheaper rooms. The fact that they had to do this to us and others AND the fact that they had already set us up with a “sister” hotel tells me this is a normal occurrence. Bonus: we got an automated text asking how our stay was even though we weren’t even there! Lol

Nice place, poor service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

Place is beautiful but is severely lacking in the service it provides. Don’t go here expecting the staff to be the same as you would expect at a luxury resort.

I got burned !

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

It's a very nice Hotel and usually runs around 540 a night . I've stayed there in the past. I made reservation thru AAA but when I got there, they didn't have king size room. So ended up with a queen handicapped room , it was sub optimal . next time going through American Express . Good luck
