My husband and I met a young man as we arrived at the Kimpton named Joshua Pompa as he delivered our luggage to our room . He was a new employee of the Kimpton hotel just a few months . I would stay at this lovely hotel again even just to get his attention to every detail ! He remembered our names each time we saw him and shared many amazing details about our visit to San Antonio. Always smiling always assisting us .

Excellent customer service Great Rooms
Location: This location close to south town and the village shops is my favorite of the many locations we have chosen over the years to visit San Antonio. It is quiet, and close to great restaurants and the river walk. Atmosphere: Kimpton Santo is the friendliest hotel my husband and I have stayed in. Ezli, the bellman we met at check-in, was amazing and is the reason our stay was so enjoyable. He was courteous and friendly, making us feel welcome. When he took us to our room, he told us about the area, and even helped us with a walking route to our event downtown. He also showed the amenities of the room. We saw him several times in the lobby during our stay and he always had a friendly greeting and checked in with us to see if there was anything we needed. At checkout he was at our door again, loading our bags into the vehicle and supplying us with cold water for the road. It was evident through his interactions with other employees that he is well liked and respected. Room: Comfortable beds and very clean. Nice view of downtown. Good amenities. Even a yoga mat. Really liked this hotel. We will definitely stay again.
